Topic: WHAT DO YOU FEAR MOST? | |
---|---|
I think different people have different perceptions of fear. That is not the way I read it. Or understand it.
Some see fear and read afraid. I read fear and see respect, to embrace. Kat I tried powder...it is supposed to dull the shine.LOL. It's them blue eyes...that's what it is. Luv you girl! Kat |

“will we die and perish into nothingness? THAT is my biggest fear.” Why would you fear that? You’d never even KNOW it happened! Rambill wrote: "I fear one thing only... God." I would never fear my creator unless I thought it was a demon. Surely god is nicer than me? I certainly wouldn't fear someone like me, so why would I fear a god that's even better? |

Fear.
Kat, you bring up a great subtext subject.... What is fear? What is the physiological trigger? The psychological triggers? and then....why? Where did the 'why' part come from? |

i'm afraid of clowns.

Letting my bright light shine has made me a target so I learned that it was not safe to be me ... In a weird way I guess I fear being ... embracing ... all that I am ...so there have been times where I played small ... and that serves no one.

YOULL FEAR HIM LATER, IF NOT NOW. we are commanded to fear the Lord. its in the book somewhere. some think this is a negative thing but i already covered that one too.
spiders dont scare me, or heights, or big dogs. They cant hurt me until he lets them. ( by my bringing it on myself most likely) i fear what he COULD do to me and also know that i would deserve it all. thats just understanding the pecking order. Im not the center, its not all about what I want, but rather what does he want me to do? how can i glorify him today, right now. What would Jesus do so to speak. |

There are different kinds of fears - the worst one for me is the deepest one that paralyzes my whole body. I haven't figured out how to push past the paralyzing so I can move through the fear and face what's causing it. The more minor fears result in a shaking all over - anger at myself for that one gets me through it, but then I get downright mean to make myself push past the fear and face the cause.

Paralysis...inertia...overwhelmed....interesting.....fear...sneaky stuff....insidious inner dialogue....hmmmm.
Minor fears....precautionary...rational...able to move through it...healthy stuff...it feel like healthy stuff...everyday stuff...that is the difference between causing harm, and being harmed...sounds sane to me. |

What is fear? What is the physiological trigger? The psychological triggers? and then....why? Where did the 'why' part come from? This is some of the "whys". The "whys" can be from childhood forces. Or from situations much later from things that happened. Such as car wrecks, control issues. Abuse. Mental stresses that are triggered by whatever it was that caused fear in the first place. A scary movie. A clown, being so bold in his appearance, but sooo different. Snakes, spiders...the unknown, the realized. The mind can also cause physiolgical stresses and nerves or sickness. The mind is so intense as to bring even the strongest of us down to the emotional size of an ant. To become weak, and emotionally paralized. Easily stomped on or squished in our own fear filled mind and heart. The human condition is a strange and thought provoking process. Kat |

I fear the pain of loss
Inevitable ... irrational ... but fears are not rational ... and they sneak in despite our best intentions ... |

i fear becoming content with my life............i fear stopping my self created rat race.........i fear having time to think...........

So conditioning can cause fear...'programming'...rational or irrational thoughts that create fears...from experiences and/or perceived potential of experiences? Hmmmmm......
So experiencing things that are beyond your control can instill, initiate fear? If you allow it? Or does it just come at you, swamped, with no control of what you feel? |

Don't mind me...thinking aloud.
Time it with each bite of popcorn and we are in synch... |

“i fear becoming content with my life............” Is that the same as having no fear that life is approaching it’s end? |
