My experience says not to go there...He's gay...That's him and he will never be any different...Don't go there and bring heart-ache on for yourself over someone that is who they are...BUT cherish his friendship and see him and love him for who he is!!!!!!!!!

I have lots of gay friends...and yes it's easy to fall for them. as they are so sensitive, and sweet and thoughful..
However, you are falling for someone who will always love you for you...but be attracted to men.. Perhaps you love the who of him....which is wonderful...but not the whole of him. |

I do love the whole of him. I, in no way love this boy/man sexually. I am more of a mom, but if circumstances were slightly different feelings would be different.

My daughter is a lesbian and is very happy. Of the two gays that worked at the nursing home; Both have quit. The first gay guy must have gotten better offer but the second one quit because he didn't want to take the clinicals twice. He met a guy from Georgia who offered to buy his tickets for him to come see him. He was so excited before he left. I had one friend who got fired from this nursing home and the next one she got hired onto for missing to much but she used to tell me that she was bi. She liked me because to her I was just one of the girls. At first I didn't know how to really take it but what the heck we sure had great conversations together.

My daughter is a lesbian.
I get rather sick of everyone asking me when she will change. I adore her significant other- its like having another daughter. |

I am glad to see that there are people like me out there that accepts the gay community. This friend of mine, is 38 years younger than myself and filled a void when my own son got married and moved away, since that time, we have become very close and I guess I am not ready to let him go. It's like having a son, a best friend rolled into one. I would like to have him near me all the time, but realize that he has a life to live too. It all comes down to me dealing with the situation.

Did you get my e-mail? Let your Motherly instincts take over because that's all it can be. |

Nickinolosers, I did get your e-mail. I know, just like letting go of your real children and letting them spread their wings and fly it is hard to let him go, I am so motherly towards him. I would like to keep him close to me 24/7 just like my own biological children, but I know in my heart that is not possible.
