Just to let anyone who wants to know. They just took my mom in for her surgery.

They have the surgery slotted for 1 hour. But I recall when we met with the doctor they talked about taking 2 hours. So I guess we'll see how long it takes.

She's having her uterus removed because or tumors. She's hod clots before which damaged half of her lungs and 1/4 of her heart. So it's still pretty scary.

We just got word everything is good. minimal bleeding. So we're happy.

Great Izzy. Waiting is the hardest part so glad that part is over. It is amazing how fast some folks recoupe so hope that is true in your Mom's case. Now get yourself some rest. (((Izzy)))

I will try. My youngest sis and I are staying in a hotel and my dad is spending the night with my mom. So I expect everything should be fine. I could be wrong. But since since things have gone good so far I'm sure she'll be fine.
