why does it seem like woman stear clear of a guy with full custidy of the kids.

I think its great when a father has his kids!!!

if they steer clear of you then they are not the one for you. It has to be an issue within themselves that they are not looking for the full package deal. That my friend is there problem....but there is someone out there that will take you and the kids for all of you that you are....just have patience.

I would not change it for nothing but when a woman finds out I have custidy they turn tall and run

I did'nt! I raised two girls as my own along with my kids.
People used to call us the brady bunch... I don't know why someone would do that unless they just don't want kids... |

the thing is not to sound like one of those parents but my girls are great kids. so its not that they are total brats or something. woman just dont like the fact i have them full time

Is it possible that you are projecting a 'Mommy' position available?
That women may think that you are interveiwing for the postion of step-mommy? Sometimes we are not even aware we are doing it...and this may have nothing to do with your situation...however I have known women who are looking for a step father for their children...and men run....they dont want to think of that stuff after three dates.. |

and you... The ones that hytail it- wish them a vovouge... they would'nt be right for your kid's at all. |

I think it's great that you have custody.. Let them run at least you found out now and not later...Or they pretend to like your kids.

Im not advertising for a new mommy.I do let them know I have the girls and thats when I see the look on there face like no way.

I think it's the same issue that single mothers all over the US have. I have sole custody of my 2 girls and get the same cold sholder. And that's ok because if a person doesn't want my kids...I dont want them! She will show up for you just keep on keeping on!

Well, Cincy, maybe they are not parent material. Better to know right up front, than 6 months down the road. Have patience and the one you are looking for will come along. I, personally, see it as a plus if a man has custody of his kids...it shows he knows how to be responsible and is not afraid of commitment....

Sometimes that look comes from women who have no children...at least you are weeding out women who are not up to being involved with a family.

I'd never run just because a man has custody of his kids.
I was a single mom, still am. I think it's great that some men do that. Many women are afraid of the same job. Just meaning that many men are afraid of being the sole care provider. Cudos to you. Good luck, I hope you find the woman your looking for.

some of them had kids some wanted kids just not other peoples kids.The other glitch is the girls dont really have a relationship with there mom she lives 1500 miles away.
