![]() can ANY of those purporting his use of executive orders is like a 'dictator' provide one of these executive orders that would point to him being a 'dictator'? Im sure its becoming a clich accusation without much merit that can be shown to back it up,,, I would gamble that any such EO under this president would not be something that was unique and would be comparible to an EO under the past several presidents,,, I mean, yeah, we can post over and over, he legislates with executive orders I could post over and over that Bush beat his wife ,,,but where is the meat of the argument? The examples that back up the claim? |

these are facts: PResidents do have pens,, Presidents to have phones It Is legal for Presidents to use the pen to sign VETOS it is legal for Presidents to use the pen to sign Executive Orders this is opinion: in a government with the most DO NOTHING congress in my lifetime,, whose members make public statements that their GOAL is to work at not moving along the country, but making sure to oppose the POTUS,, Im glad SOMEONE is talking about doing SOMETHING,,,,lol this is another opinion: speaking of 'the people' is the common vernacular used in every political discussion or discourse I have ever read,,,,its relevant in a political topic and nothing at all to do with narcissism It is not legal for any United States president to violate the seperation of powers by circumventing congress all together in order to force through their agendas that otherwise would not pass. Even with a divided congress. Unless there is an emergency situation that must be dealt with immediately, Executive Orders should not be used. that is a different debate the potus is head of the EXECUTIVE BRANCH,, also executive offices,,, different to pass laws over people, than to make determinations about how your office (s) will be run,,,, ""his/her duties include making sure the laws are faithfully executed,"" That last line is where Obama and his administration fails. |

Immigration for instance! http://nypost.com/2014/01/14/obama-i-can-use-executive-orders-to-take-action-in-2014/ He is full of the Brown Stuff, and it ain't no Chocolate! seems immigration is going the same way as any other issue
"Obama listed immigration reform as a priority for the year. He will need Congress to turn his goals on that issue into law." so what has that to do with being a 'dictator' or with executive orders? |

But you're right. No difference from any of his other illegal/unconstitutional acts. |

But you're right. No difference from any of his other illegal/unconstitutional acts. or any other president who has issued upward of 100 executive orders,, or been criticized so I guess we have managed to survive many dictators in our history,,, |

Do you prefer TRAITOR then? Op-Ed: Should Obama be tried for treason after his NSA speech on Friday? "TREACHERY 1: violation of allegiance or of faith and confidence : treason 2: an act of perfidy or treason " It is instructive that the oath of office required by the Constitution, before assuming office, makes no mention of defending the nation's borders, territories, or even people. The president is sworn to defend one thing and one thing only: " the Constitution of the United States" : "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." http://www.digitaljournal.com/news/politics/should-obama-be-tried-for-treason-after-his-nsa-speech-on-friday/article/366132#ixzz2qXOWA6xr |
