Topic: Why do younger guys like older women? | |
---|---|
I think it all comes down to personal preferences. I myself like a younger woman, but some of my friends like large, tall thin, in fact all types of ladies. Some even like the men !!!! not for me. Eqach to their own is what I say

Here's the deal. Young single men are led to believe that older single women are craving sex because they can't get as much sex as younger single women can. So, the young men hit on older single women, hoping that the older women will be so hungry for sex that they will accept the younger men as sex partners. The same young men would prefer to have sex with younger women, but the men perceive themselves as have too much competition for the younger women and a lack of competition for the older women. Such young men are simply trying to use older women to satisfy their sexual cravings, which reveals just how self-centered that the men are. That's pretty funny David.... It makes sense though.. Only if you're desperate... I think it depends on the circumstances. some men are looking for something casual, wanting to experiment w/e. Those types prolly are looking to "learn" and take advantage of an older woman's experience. But most older women are not going to be interested. Despite what Dodo and Journeyman think, there are also young men who appreciate older women....I find the replies echoed by Dodo and Journeyman insulting and they insult a sizeable portion of the females in these forums as many of us are middle aged or older. Many people do not really look at age....just as many don;t look at race, or hair color or what have you. And some do. I think these 2 men need to realize that it is possible to have a preference without insulting those who do not fit it. Fortunately they speak only for themselves (at least I hope they realize that). It's OK to prefer younger women but is it necessary to be insulting to those of us who are older? How would you like to read comments about how younger women don;t like older men because they all need viagra? lol How about re-reading my previous post carefully. I said nothing negative about older women. I described the perception that some younger men have about older women. that is not how it came across, obviously. but if that's the case I appreciate the clarification. I still think you tread on shaky ground. First off, who are you to speak for "younger men," unless those thoughts were your own at that age? I agree that he indeed did not say anything negative about older women but he makes a damn good point about younger men whether he speaks for them or not. |

Younger women don't have large retirement accounts.
I like a woman who can support the manner of living I'd like to become accustomed to. |

Oooooh, what evil eyes!! Just teasing. Money matters. As long as we can get by and get along is all that matters. |

They are not evil eyes, they are insightful, and see down to the heart of the matter! I don't need money from a man, and neither should he need money from me, although I would gladly give it, since money means nothing to me. To me love, honesty, caring and integrity are of the utmost value, not someone's bank account.

Because older women don't make you jump through hoops to have sex lol they know what they want.

That's why I am still in the situation I stated in my profile. Honor is number one for me. |

It sounded totally materialistic to me, and I want none of that. To me integrity is everything! Who needs anything else, really? What else is of any value in the real world? Nothing...IMHO! |

To me love, honesty, caring and integrity are of the utmost value, not someone's bank account. That so many older women say money means nothing to them; until they have been defrauded of almost every penny they have, their credit is trashed, and their children or the state has to support them is exactly why a certain percentage of younger men will pretend to be so devoted. They know they can enjoy the fruits of someone else's hard work and then when the golden years turn to the lead years when care is overwhelming they are dumped and the younger man usually comes out smelling like a rose with hidden assets that he can use to live it up as an older bachelor getting whatever his ill gotten money can buy him. I guarantee if older women plead poverty or at least refuse to give gifts, cash, invest in businesses, or provide shelter the younger guys would move on real fast. The younger guys can tell you it is because you are a superior lover but they are hitting on the side with a younger woman or another man 90% of the time. |

I've been exposed to that too, but still that kind of usury can come from an older man as well, trust me. In the end, though, it's up to us to show wisdom in dealing with any man...the only point I was making was in response to the previous statement from Willing2, which seemed to come from a total materialistic viewpoint, although he denied this being the case. And he is an older man, not a younger one! Surprise? |

Yes both young and old men can use you for money but its more common place for a younger man to target and older woman for money or just to use for sex. Agreed though a woman should proceed with caution dating a man at any age. |

At best it was a careless statement from a man who should have known better, and I definitely believe, he did know better, thus the additional explanation. JMHO |
