Why do we view peoples profiles over and over if we have no intention of messaging them?
I don't view more than once...but I notice the same people viewing me with not a single hello...Granted, I have age restrictions! Children are not allowed to participate ...anyone 30 and under, I am NOT interested at all.
I look because I think he's cute... But not over and over... That's stalkery..no it's not a word.
Why do you look if not to message? Rateing a profile does not count!

Maybe they are looking at the peps on your banner strip to contact?

I use my phone. Sometimes I touch the posters name instead of the topic.

i'm sure everyone has their own reasons. for me, i view a profile for a couple of different reasons. if i read something they post i'll take a look. if their main pic is not a personal pic (cartoon) or looks too good i'll check and see if they have any other pics. sometimes i view one profile and the other profiles that come up as suggestions i start to view in a pattern, so i may view a profile that has never posted in a forum or hasn't been on since they opened

as for revisiting a profile, i will if i read something they post on the forums and i think, why haven't i messaged her, so i go to her profile and find that she has a restriction or something she said about herself is a turn off. or one of the times i'm pattern clicking on profiles, she comes up again

I've had guys repeatedly view my profile. One, I'm pretty sure he was only doing it to piss me off, another one had more than likely added me to his favorites list in stealth mode and kept viewing all day, until I blocked his creepy a s s....

I think repeated views are a form of stalking, harmless, but still stalking. Pretty childish and pointless; if you have something to say, just say it if you can, and if someone has their restrictions set, accept that you're not their cuppa tea and move on. Don't keep staring like a dork. And yeah, I have my filters set pretty strict, so I think some of them do it hoping I'll email them and ask "Why do you keep viewing me?" so I've opened up some sort of dialogue.

But I won't.

You'll have to ask those who view over and over without messaging. My guess from when I've asked people that question is they're either too shy or they don't know what to say.

Same here then I automatically press back in order not to count as 1 of the "viewers" of that profile but then again its too late. Lol

I do it because I'm a stalker, or is it nosey, or should that be nosy, or I might say snoopy, but that's being a dog about it.
