Others consider them passionate and intense, or at least that's what astrologists say. To a point, it is very true.

I always find it funny when ppl say "I don't believe in astrology". Believing has nothing to do with it. It's not an illusion or magick.

Am a Leo with an Aries rising and my moon in Sagittarius. I think its kinda fitting. I don't necessarily believe in astrology however if one were to look at the world from a scientific point of view it kinda shows what control was used in your experiment. I.e. Where and when you were born.

I have always felt like if you tell a person often enough supposed facts about themselves they tend to believe it weather it is true or not.

That sounds like a preconception of someone who's never really (bothered?) to read up on it.
I am a Taurus, but let's say I didn't know that and people told me I was a Virgo. They could tell me a gazillion times I was a Virgo, but it would NOT compute! It's so totally not me.
And that's the thing, it's not about brainwashing, which is what you are saying in other words. It's just well, the truth.
I would almost dare you to have a horoscope done. I'm absolutely certain you'd change your mind (as would any so called non believer if he/she dared admit they'd been wrong). It's that accurate. Even your skepticism is likely to come up in your horoscope.

I think it is filled with supposition and has no scientific foundations, I cannot see how the time of year that you were born has any influence on either your personality or on your future.

I didn't say it was actual science but more of astrology formulates an educated guess or hypothesizes about the kind of person we are based on those things. If you really wanna go into how time of year and climate can make something a certain way look at reptile species like alligators. If the nest is of one temperature all the hatchlings will be of a certain sex. Like I dunno if its above 88f they will all be male while if it is under that temperature all will be female.(Don't quote me I'm sure my numbers are wrong they were just to prove a point I'm sure anyone interested can find out the actual temperatures.)

We as a species do our largest amounts of growing within our first five years of life I think it is. Now take that into consideration some like me for example was born mid summer it was warm and bright. That could have an effect on how I grew. If someone is born in winter where its cold and the nights are long that could also have an effect. I personally don't believe But I do have fun reading it and sometimes its kinda creepy how spot on it can be.

How about this, not sure if it's astrological, probably,

Fridays child is loving and giving
Saturdays child works hard for a living
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good in every way.

Peculiar enough people used to hold stock in that old rhyme too.

Sure, it's not per say about telling you exactly what your destiny is. It does reveal how you deal with certain things in life, i.e. challenges, love, intimacy, conflicts and so on And it goes real deep.
Proper astrology is also not something you'd learn in a week or so. It's a serious study, as in some 4 years.

I think astro is pretty accurate especially in relationships try Suzanne White she goes into double astro your year will be Chinease and your month western it is strange how certain signs clash or have not much in common and our own same energy signs are easier to be around ; the ones that refuse to look at it are often typically like their sign ( stubborn etc ) tho you may not live by it , it's useful to see how we can improve ourselves and maybe enjoy our positive traits
I don't mind what anybody thinks basics in Astro is Fire n water do Not mix at all !
