that's funny you should say that.. about taking time.. once it took me 3 months to come up with THE perfect way to shorten the length of a few kitchen cupboard doors.. and now ya can't tell which one's I did so totally agree.. I ALWAYS take my time to plan projects.. like the old adage says.. "measure twice, cut once"
my dad was a wonderful mentor.. and thankfully.. I am a good listener

oh yeah.. another thing my dad taught me.. if you can visualize it.. anything is possible!! it hasn't failed me yet.. well.. not completely although not fully redone.. I can still see the finished product of my home in ma head.. and ONE day.. God willing.. I'll finish the project beFORE I'm too old to enjoy it

it was a good day.. i got a manicure, my hair cut (not too happy she cut too much off) and had lunch with my friend..

that's good to hear ((((sis)))) that you're taking some time to pamper you.. you'll have to send pics of the new doo though

and I'm really glad it was a GOOD day.. it's nice to see you 'smile'

and even BETTER is.. I have yet anOTHER contract to start Monday FINALLY.. things are starting to pick up YIPEE!! for a moment there I was scrambling for a way out of the abyss.. *sighs* but the future looks a lil brighter thankfully.. (hopefully now that I've said that out loud, so ta speak, I won't tank it )

it's SATURDAY.. and I slept in!! oh how I loves me bed and how my room feels so BIG now that I've moved things around a bit..

Oh yea...doughnuts for supper ....Hey, they're good anytime (as long as there's coffee to go with them).

my kids 'n I used to spend 1 Saturday a month eating junk food and watching movies all day.. it was a way to connect and spend some quality time with them (believe it or not ) I remember one time we ate a dozen donuts for supper.. the next day however.. I wasn't feelin soo hot and since then.. can't really eat donuts any longer

I do however watch what I eat now.. its funny how as kids we didn't care what we ate, yet as we age.. it gets harder and harder to digest certain foods.. oddly enough though.. I've not had any serious health issues in almost 20 years.. wow.. lets hope I didn't just jinx that
