Topic: Are women more susceptible to philistinism than men? | |
---|---|
I don't think women appreciate the science of physiognomy as much as men do. For example, all the great artists have been men.
You always hear women talking about what's on the inside as opposed to what's on the outside. I think they put too much emphasis on personality and not enough on aesthetics. Which is why you often see below average looking guys going out with highly attractive women. They have never had it so good. In the past they were shoved aside to make way for men that were more macho and better looking. But now feminism has ruined everything. It has turned the natural order of things upside down. I think it's time we got back to basics. What do you think? |

I've never said I wanted a guy for what's on the inside.

And in regards to your comment about all the great artists being men, I suggest you read this book: Women, Art and Society by Whitney Chadwick. The introduction in particular, is very informative.

Or a loincloth like Johnny Weissmuller? |

I think it says more about the man than anything else...All that told me was that you're not really familiar with artists and not susceptible to the ever-changing reality of the world we live in today.
That's okay, you seem to be in good company in those regards...Unfortunate I think, but no one cares what I think. |

Now I'm also curious about what back to basics means...will we still be allowed to wear shoes and undies and shave our arm pits or will we be going like wayyyyyyyyy back before we even had good hygiene?

If the author of the OP wanted to go back to the basics, then he wouldn't be here, because cavemen know nothing about the Internet.
![]() "Hey, I resent that remark!" Sorry. Correction: Ancient cavemen know nothing about the Internet. |
