Are we asking if the information is good? Are we asking if we come across as desperate with what we've chosen to type? Or... Are we just asking people how we look in our profile pictures? I'm pretty sure that's what we really want to know. Haha!

Maybe because so many people have such big illusions about themselves that others start to think that they suffer from the same illusions and hence want an independent opinion

This is a no-brainer. We are here because for a variety of reasons we are not able to attract attention at the moment. Asking to be rated is a cry for attention. It behoves us all to answer such requests in a kindly manner.

I think some people honestly want to know if their profiles need work. And many people really need that advice, from what I've seen....
