its not really rude whekn u go in to nudge u have s list of choices one is send a kiss one is send a hug there is a few more but this is part of the list as well what it really means if someone u have no interest nudge u you can if u wish send kick in the *** which means that u want the person to move on and stop nudging u but only a fool sends than first and u can fix stupid I did think about that but I just think its a funny one and hope someone gets my sense of humour..if i'm not interested,i wont send anything back OMG, you could be right! .... I never thought of it that way!! |

It is the equivalent of the kid behind you in English class pulling your pigtails or shooting spitballs at you.
It is a lame and completely ineffective way to express interest....yet....it is away to express interest. I am hoping for the atomic wedgie nudge. Nothing else means "I like you " quite like having your underwear yanked so far up your crack that you can taste it. Let's make it happen people! |

It seems kind of pointless doesn't it? I just figured they REALLY WERE being horrible when someone sent me one, so I just send them one back. If it meant they were being humorous, I'd have no idea. . Oh well, an easy mistake to make.....I hope. I'm not gonna waste my time playing wink and nudge, when some guy's will actually send e-mails and take time to know me. If he's worth it, he'll speak up, otherwise no point. Winks and nudges are meaningless to me. If he isn't gonna say anything, he can forget it. It bores me to death. It does, though

I like the nudge feature it is a form of flirting, like sending someone a drink at the lounge. Sometimes the person lives faraway and a nudge is a way of saying hey I know I'll never meet you but you got it going on!

I feel the same way. I hardly ever look at who nudged me. I prefer a message too. |

I used the kick in the butt nudge once when a woman that I had been chatting with didn't reply for about a week after my last message. It got her attention again.
I've also done it to women that read my messages and looked at my profile without replying. In general I do just ignore nudges but I have replied to them when the women that did it lived near enough for dating. |

I agree. If you have interest in someone, just type a little message. How hard is that? Of course, it could be for use by someone who is thinking, "I'm maybe interested but not enough to go to the trouble to type something, but I'll bet if I send a nudge this person will jump out of his/her skin in delight and head my way!" apparently that is really hard for some people I call it being passive-aggressive, just like on other sites where they make you their "favorite" or "want to meet you" and you have never even wrote them or they you, also just have to laugh at men's profiles that say if interested then write them, if someone has something funny or says something interesting in their profile I may write a comment but to just write someone ......nah I am to old fashioned (hey, I own up to it) |

Who wants to bother anymore sending emails when you are most likely not going to get a response..I def won't be getting responses now that I don't have a pic.
Just send a nudge and if you're interested..send one back..whats the big deal? |

I thought the nudge option was for guys who didn't own keyboards.
Or for guys who didn't have time to type "sup". |

Nudge is for telling we are here... notice me

It's a good way to get on my block list...that, and any nudge really....

Mostly I just ignore but I had a wave of nudges and
hi" messages about 4 days ago,and one messaged twice in three days, and nudged three times so a just reported then as spammers. I think more people need to take a minute to see if its a suspicious profile and report,as I was guilty the other day of waiting three days to look at them all. Like Jacktrades is saying,I like the feature too but its got such a bad review due to to scammers so we all need to do are part and police. |
