So we admit to arming the people attacking the ruling government in Syria are we not supporting terrorists in that regard? Think about it if a foreign government started arming and training unemployed and disenfranchised Americans what would our response be?

So we admit to arming the people attacking the ruling government in Syria are we not supporting terrorists in that regard? Think about it if a foreign government started arming and training unemployed and disenfranchised Americans what would our response be? The US has been doing this systematically for decades and only now this has your attention? First it was always known Communist 'rebels', then it was well known Communist "freedom fighters"; then it was still well known Communist 'liberation forces' Many once free, non Communist countries became communist once the forces of 'dictatorships' ran out o time, of aid, and nerve on the part of the politicos that usually turned on their armed forces, with only one exception and that was Rhodesia. During the 1950's through the late 60's many countries ceased to exist, primarily defeated from within with one exception that brought the invasion of UN troops in to defeat the anti communist armed forces on behalf of a 'socialist' revolution. That was the very briefly known country of Katanga. And, never mind Hungary in 1956 that the US promised to help ward off the Soviet armed forces when they came; same for Czechoslovakia... America being 'anti-communist' was a world wide joke to everyone outside the US. Study world history since WW2. |

Hussein should arm Americans as well as he arms terrorists, er, I mean, rebels.

I say, give them all the help to kill each other.
Better than killing us. Know what I mean? |

We (the CIA) armed and trained the "rebels" in Afghanistan against the Russians, then those rebels attacked us on 9/11 (TWICE). So we declare war on Iraq which was our friend (which is now an Al Qaeda holding basically where it wasn't before), and Afghanistan, in retaliation for an attack by Arab terrorists, fighting against our own training and weapons, and now we want to arm those same rebels again to battle Assad, but they are now our "friends"....even tho we still fight them everywhere else in the world...... and our gov't thinks this is sane logic and the right thing to do? Are they brain dead or did I miss the memo that the war on terror was over and Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood is now our friends? Veterans can now be suspected terrorists (thank you Ms Feinstein) as well as anyone with literature like the Constitution or bible in their possession, a weapon, stored foods, or physical gold and silver.... but not Al Qaeda or the brotherhood? Call me crazy, but I just can't wrap my head around the gov'ts logic, and the idiots who think it is sane reasoning...... |

U.S Arms Terorrists?
Not really, this is merely anti-Obama hyperbole and quite divorced from the reality. The WH press release on the matter is quite illuminating, in that the material aid is being channelled to the FSA via the SNC, with the caveat that nothing finds its way to Al-Nusra or Al-Qaeda. All this is being done under a strict monitoring process and the very idea of arming extremists is ridiculous to say the least. No doubt many will choose to believe whatever takes their fancy. |

How's that koolaid? You probably still believe Iraq had WMDs too, and something to do with 9/11, Benghazi happened because of a film on youtube and Dubya was a genius |

I know, right? It just goes to show the stupidity of the people to buy into the media hype of it all. People are so stupid these days they don't even try, or need to hide their abuse and idiocy from them any more. They just do as they will then sell the people what to believe thru the media after the fact..... and most buy it! |

They just do as they will then sell the people what to believe thru the media after the fact..... and most buy it! I offer this up for consideration. From the Your Tax Dollars at Work file, news that the US military's Central Command (CENTCOM) has awarded a $2.7 million contract to Ntrepid, a newly-formed Los Angeles-based startup, to create fake online "personae" for the purpose of manipulating online conversations and spreading pro-American, pro-military propaganda in social media. The "online persona management service" called for in the contract would permit one US serviceman or woman to manage up to 10 separate sock puppets. The Guardian article today says the program would make it possible to "secretly manipulate social media sites http://boingboing.net/2011/03/17/us-military-launches.html Read the rest |
