No worries. Believe it or not, I'm used to people calling me that and it's a joke name. I didn't think anything about that but it's bad enough with all of the nested quotes without having to scroll through all of those smileys and I didn't read that post you're refering to.

I'm not saying that I think that this site is totally crap and I can hardly complain about it when I've actually met women from being on here and it's cost me nothing. Well, I think that the people that run the site are probably only interested in money and they are happy enough to give the impression that there are loads of real people on here, when a large number of those profiles are bogus or inactive. I came on here for dating and for me that's a separate thing from the banter that goes on here in the forums. As a forum Mingle is not bad but as a dating site it could be a lot better in my opinion.

As far as mutual match goes, I think that it's a bit pointless anywaybut it is kind of funny about the dead guy and my lady friend that has no recollection of matching with me when she said to me that she's thinking of deleting her acount on here because she's fed up with getting a lot of messages from men that keep asking her to meet them. If she did actually click that she did it after she had met me. I'm past caring if the other ones that matched with me are trolls or bots. It's a dating site and if people can't be bothered to type a proper message, or reply to one, then it's their loss and I'll continue to come on these forums to chat with you lot while I'm waiting for messages from friends that I have on here and from women that I've met up with.

They will never inactivate profiles on this site, because it is free. The more active profiles means it will be more appealing to potential members, and being a free website, the more people they can get means the more they can charge for advertising on their site. Thus, inactivating old profiles would be counter productive. Furthermore, setting the last visited to only over a month ago follows in the same type of manipulation. It's just good for business. Not that I'm complaining, it's free.

Yeah but some people actually come on dating sites for dating and not just for a laugh. Are you saying that you don't take this seriously as a dating site because it's free? It's not all about money you know. If you really are on here to meet somebody it can take a lot of time and there are a lot of lonely people out there that registered on this site because it's supposed to be a proper dating site where a lot of people have found love.

Been on a few dating sites and saw how they operated so I wasn't interested in dating sites anymore. They do work for some and realistically paid or free makes no difference
