"Sod it! I don't care about it anymore!" are the moments when u are just urself, free from all worries. u do not care about the world outside, u do not mind whether the others care or not. the strongest moments of a woman..

There are some that aren't for sale.
These are 2 of them:

But to be honest, most would be difficult to let go of. You always put part of yourself in a painting. You won't lose that part when you sell it, but it means you have a connection with it.

these are beautiful......

that is what i though exactly
it must be difficult to let them go as they have a part of your soul in them..

2 paintings have the same long haired lady..
it must have a meaning :) i won't ask..

Haha ...
Here's another one that is not for sale, also a woman with long hair.
This one and the other with the red dress are part of a sequel on my own personal development and growth.

The other one with the hill -which is Glastonbury Tor, UK, including the Michael Tower on top of it), has to do with Avalon. I don't know if you know the books / movie "The Mists of Avalon"? That's what this painting is about.
If you see the Glastonbury Tor from above, there's something like a labyrinth to be seen. Hence the lighter lines on the sides of the hill in the painting. Story has it that if you walked that labyrinth a certain way, you'd get into the Faery realm and I believe you could also enter the Tor.

Of course there is no water around Glastonbury anymore, but in the olden days, there was. It flooded regularly.
There's also no passageway in the hill, but ... legend has it there actually are or used to be passageways and that the omphalos egg is hidden there. I believe after Atlantis had sunk beneath the ocean.
Don't ask me about that egg... I'll have to read the book again, lol. Something very important and sacred.

Anyway, I'm very interested in European paganism, the Celts etc., mainly focusing on UK's history, so the stories about Avalon appeal to me a lot!
(The Arthurian legend is part of that --> King Arthur and Guinevere, Lancelot etc)

Hope I haven't bored you to death, hihi

no of course you did not bore. i find these legend, mystic and old time stories very very!! interesting..
i did not know about the "The Mists of Avalon" and searched about it. "The Mists of Avalon is a 1983 novel by Marion Zimmer Bradley, in which she relates the Arthurian legends from the perspective of the female characters..."
very interesting...
do you advice me to read the book or to watch the tv series of it? (though i am not sure the book is published in turkish, i have to search..)

I got the book. There is in actual fact a sequel of some 8 books, I got them all! I love them! But I am really into all the pagan and spiritual stuff.
The movie Mists of Avalon was good as well. But if you like reading, I'd say go for the book. Simply because in a book the author can explain more than one could in the hour and a half a movie lasts.
But it was absolutely a great movie!
I think Marion's books have been translated in a great many languages. They were and still are very popular!
They're the only books I like reading again from time to time. The insight in the culture, the description of rituals etc is really good. She's done a great deal of investigation.
And of course the Romans play part in it as well, as in those days they had invaded the British Isles -and most of Europe.
Her books helped me in the beginning, when I was still searching to find out what spirituality and intuition and so on meant to me.

i like reading a lot. And i would prefer reading first and then watch the movie unless the opposite is strictly recommended. indeed many of the times i experienced that the movies are insufficient in giving the details and giving the concentration of the feelings. of course in 90 minutes how can they reflect whole details? not much chance..
i searched for the book, and yes it is published in Turkish too. there are books like mists of avalon. 1/2/3 and so on.
also there is the book with just the name "mist of avalon" no number following at the name and it is 1152 pages. i guess that may be the one collecting all 8 of them together in 1 cover. or is there a chance for just 1 book to be so many pages?

I checked mine, and yes, the Mists of Avalon is thick, thicker than the other books of the sequel.
My English version (paperback) is 1009 pages.
The other books in the series are around 400-450 pages.
So 1 2 3 is just the book split in three I spose, easier to hold maybe? Personal preference :)
Slightly more pages in Turkish is probably just caused by the language and maybe a slightly different layout of the pages (think margins, font size).
But if words in a language tend to be longer, you easily get an additional 100 pages.

No problem, glad to be of help.

I had to look it up in my own book, and YES, the first part is called "Mistress of Magic".
2 = The High Queen
3 = The King Stag ( ---> A stag is a male deer)
4 = The Prisoner of the Oak

So there's a 4th part as well.

I finished my Inner Child painting today :) Started it last year, then got stuck. Now it's finished. Me happy!

This Curvy Lady was finished yesterday. Started it in 2017, got stuck. I like it, totally different from anything I'd ever done before.

Thank you, River! flowerforyou
I can start a new canves now that I got these 2 done.
I'm thinking a landscape, likely with something extra appearing in it, hihi. That usually happens, a Merlin or a stone circle.
