it's FLYDay for all non USA peeps that hasta work.. 
it's a good day to become a grandma.. 
at least I hope for my youngest's sake I DO.. she's a week overdue 'n drivin me NUTS!!  I told her to call the hospital or her doctor OR even Pizza-Hut instead.. cuz I don't deliver.. 
should find out in an hour or so IF today will be a birthday celebration day or NOT.. poor kid looks like the goodyear blimp
I can laugh cuz I already BEEN there..
yesterday she touched my  though.. told me I was the only true best friend she's ever had.. brought a tear to my eye..
anywho.. keep ya posted on that front 
as it turns out.. we hit 105F yesterday.. can you say sweatin bullets?? phew.. and today bodes to be AS hot as yesterday currently only 92 F so gonna try getting a few things done outside before it gets TOO hot.. not fond of  like a pig.. but the POOL is looking MIGHTY fine today

I'll bet I could fit a couple of my kiddie pools in your pool Zee But my kiddie pool has been getting me by in this hot weather and Hippie....NO I won't be posting any bikini pics  I wouldn't even wear a bikini..... Not a pretty sight  Oh yea... Dodo: Do you FEEL any older today?

well.. spent the entire day with the 'new family'.. what a quiet baby.. not fussy at ALL.. phew for the new parents..
he looks like one of the treasure trolls though but hey.. don't most newborns??
mom 'n baby are doing GREAT.. the dad however is a lil worse for wear.. doesn't look like he's slept in 2 days.. but he's a proud daddy and he didn't stop grinning the whole time I was at the hospital.. for some reason.. they didn't want me to go.. so I stayed with them while the 3 of 'em took a cat nap (yup.. he even grinned when he slept lol).. they looked soo happy.. reminded me of when she was born.. and I sat and quietly cried tears of wondrous joy.. what an aMAZing day.. the whole drive home, all I wanted to do was to turn around and go back.. but I contented myself, a lil while ago, with talking to them over the phone instead.. tomorrow's another day though.. and the drive.. not that far wishing everyone special moments in their lives, such as these, to cherish forever! well.. I'm wiped.. ttfn |
