One of tose unwritten rules is that we have all silently agreed to tolerate 'pontification' to be exercised by certain members of the 'club' so to speak.

By the way, 'the pontificate' is the office held by a bishop in Catholicism. 'to pontificate' is to assume the air of infalability (never wrong, always right, regardless of facts, or reality). The 'supreme Pontiff' of course being the Pope in Rome. He is right over all!!!

Here, 'renay23', the self-proclaimed 'pontiff' is 'gardenforge', and his supreme 'pontiff' of choice is The Most Distinguished and Infallable Sir G.W. Bush.

It's a bit like the old uncle at 'Christmas' dinner!!! Always repeats the same old story. Could just as well be a record, or a video, it's a bit like you don't pay attention after the first 3 loops.

But don't get me wrong 'renay23', this is not saying anything pejorative about our good old uncles, nor is it anyhting pejorative said about 'gardenforge'!!!

After all, what would Christmas dinner be without the old 'pontificating' uncle, or for that matter, JSH debates without 'gardenforge' light hearted pontification'!!!
