Do you believe at Love at first sight? What are you're feelings on this? Love at first sight is a fairy tale. What happens at first sight is that the one doing the seeing is lusting after outward characteristics of another person, such as physical appearance, possessions, income level, etc.

Nothing like love at first sight. Folks mistake infatuation for love,and that is too bad.

Thanks for the reply and I agree with all of you. I believe that "love" is a spiritual connection one has for another. Physical attration is only part of it.

Well, when you look at someone and just wanna jump their bones, it's just lust. Love would require far more effort :)

I do. Someone said, love at first sight is a fairytale; and I'm a staunch believer in fairytales. What else is there to look forward to if not the promise of Happily Ever After? So to keep me getting out of bed in the morning, I believe in love at first sight, love at first word, Santa Clause, Cupid, the Easter Bunny, the power of friendship etc. It's my own personal pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, and I do so love chasing rainbows.

True Love at first sight is rare. Maybe a deep desire to be with another that would involve unbridled gratification of the body

Love would require far more effort :) yes very true, LOVE IS, Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

Well, when you look at someone and just wanna jump their bones, it's just lust. Love would require far more effort :) I have to sorta agree to that. Initial attraction is more of a natural instinct. You have to get to know the person to actually love them. so-called "real love" anyways.
