but as far as access to guns - there is definitely greater access to guns - not handguns necessarily tho those also - possibly illegal IDK - but they are much more prevalent and easier to obtain than when I was a child or even from when I was a young adult....I didn't mean in a legal sense, but in a sense of their presence in our lives

I think I could have had a better retort than Larry did when Piers called him an idiot. All Larry could do was laugh at Piers' rude stupidity. Right off the top I could have said "Isn't that called 'projection'?" On the other hand I tend to get pretty emotional at close range, so it's really kind of a toss-up between a snappy comeback and giving him some impromptu dental work.
