I have been blessed to make many friend's all due to the internet. Some I have been blessed to meet and many I would love to meet.. It is a blessing to able to keep up with family and friends via here.... And now to be able to share with so many a day in history even if we are all separate. We all keep each other reminded that no matter how bad life may get, we are truly blessed~~~~~~~ Here is to making history together....\_/

01/01/2101 is the next one

True but it will not be in my life time and most likely no one here will see it........

So...It's just a date, right? History is made everyday.

It begs the question as to why we get so hung up on numbers and neglect that everyday is a day in history. Worries me, a little.

But onto once in a lifetime encounters; I witnessed the transit of Venus, a once in a lifetime experience. I think it will happen again in another 105 years.

I would consider this date to be very lucky-
The three 12's break up into 3 sets of 3 4's

For some it may not even cross their minds nor mean anything to them. And then for others it might actually have some meaning..

Myself I just thought it was pretty kewl and thought I would bring it to attention...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain...

I have many moments in time... Some have brought laughter and some have brought tears, they are a part of me and my ever after....When I see your picture and that beautiful smile, my heart skips a beat, with you by my side I have overcome obstacles and climbed many mountains,, Blessed am I to have a sister like you in my life..

I'm just pleased to have met all my Mingle friends, here or in person..and to be here with y'all as history is being made!

It was a good day for me. People showed up for my special project meeting. I didn't write a single "gotta pay a bill" check on which I scribed the date. I was at a colleague's son's elementary school Christmas program watching little kids do some jumping snowman song and dance around 12:12 PM. I ate a Peanut Butter Burger at the Triple XXX diner in West Lafayette (as seen on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) and am sitting here digesting with a beverage and Mingling with people I've grown to care for over the years. I told both my kids I loved them today.

If 12-13-2012 doen't come - I'm okay with the way I spent my last.
I consider that a pretty awesome day!

Have not been so excited since 11-11-11

I have made so many good friends on the internet,
met up with them, chat them all the time, I would
not trade this venue for anything.

And I got real lucky at the love thing too :-)

As Prince would probably sing, "Tonight we're going to party like it's 12-12-12."

I was just noting that it is simply a day not unlike many before it...My friend actually said he had a vision of it being the end of the world. So you see what I have to work with, good guy, but I laughed in his face.

The day was created by man, just like the calendar we use to gauge it. It was, at the time, not unlike tomorrow...It worries me that it receives more attention than tomorrow.
