I don't know what love looks like until it's right infront of me, so please don't ask me if I'm looking for that. I'm not looking, I'm making myself availible incase it happens. That being said... How do you know if it's really Love, or just a chemical rush of endorfins? Because I can get the same feeling by scaring the **** out my self!

Hi DJ, it's been my experience that "real love" takes time to grow and know it. And by the time you do see and feel it for "real", the chemical rush that brought you together in the first place has probably mellowed into a more stable and lasting relationship, but the original "fusion" lasts as long as you work at it. Every flame eventually burns out if it isn't stoked on occasion. And real love is something you have to work at and nurture. It doesn't just happen and last forever. But, you already know that I'm sure.. peace to you..

Because everything else fades to the backgound. It is SO important, you feel it physically, emotionally, philosphically. You wonder how you ever did without. You finally grasp the point of it all. You will give it all, repercussione be damned. It will be the most important thing you will never understand :-) And if you are really, really lucky.. you will hold on to it. |

Because I can get the same feeling by scaring the **** out my self! to me love is when you can gaze at your partner, past the outer shell, see their flaws with clarity of mind.. yet still feel the inner peace and contentment of being home that ahhhhhhhhh sensation you get after a long hard day.. when you feel safe enough to let your guard down

I logged in tonight after months of absence simply to say, if you figure it out I'm all ears...... 
my guess is that if the chemical rush doesn't ruin you, and after days....weeks....months go by and some form of it is still there...you're allowed to call it love as long as u aren't afraid just a guess, what do I know? |
