I bought this brush last night because my cat has long hair and his fur was getting matted and tangled. I was unable to groom them out with a regular cat brush and the tangles and mats were pulling on his skin, causing further irritation.

When I bought the brush I was a bit skeptical, because of my cats fur condition, but I got home and I groomed my cat. I got at least half, if not more of the mats and tangles last night. His fur looks a lot better and healthier. I'll get the rest in a day or so, but this brush is amazing, and saved me the money of having to take him to a professional groomer, or even the vet.

I'm actually impressed at how well this worked. This is a must have product if you have a cat with long hair.

Now, I'll just make sure I keep him away from the Jamaican catnip, so he doesn't get all Rastafarian looking again.

He got mad at me and slept on the couch last night, instead of under the table by my bed, where he likes to sleep. lol

I made him look pretty and all his outdoor friends made fun of him. :P

He doesn't like being groomed, but I don't do it often, so he's not really used to it.

You may be able to order from Walmart and have it shipped to you, for less. IDK though, but I got mine for about half the price I'm seeing online.

Depends on where you go. Some Walmarts sell things other don't carry. For all your coffin needs, I think you'll have to shop Costco though.

That cat got medium length hair...unless you are rubbing it up against some old rastafarian shaman...I am wondering what could mat hair that is that short?

My dog just got sheared but she had burrs matted in the long hairs on the tail and thighs.

I think it's a combination of lack of grooming and stress. I pet him a lot and never noticed any tangles or mats until a few days ago and it was really bad. He sheds a lot, even in the winter when it's colder.

His fur is more of a medium than long hair.

He's strictly an indoor cat and there wasn't anything in his fur that would have caused the issue.
