Nobody can play games with you if you don't let them. Ask polite questions and verify answers. If you find them hedgeing or fudgeing the even the little facts move on to the next.

Being in a screaming rage you will scare off the nice ones and just delight the ones who used you. Why give them the satisfaction. There is always chaff among the grain just blink them away with the delete key. Easy peasy.

Not like you lost much just chatting on line. Seems like the reward for the risk is pretty good. Read forums and profiles answer a few emails; is at worst a passtime and if you actually connect a gold mine of happiness.

I found the same thing. the men seem to be scam artists & I guess you're finding the same with the women. who knows where some of these people really are. I reported one person but I doubt anything will be done about it. I was emailing another & he also sounded the same as the first one. I've pretty much given up on this site...

If it was reported, then YES the admins will look into it. If it's found they are a scammer then it WILL be taken care of.

Scammers are all over the internet....not just here. It happens. But this site is one of the BEST at getting rid of them, assuming the site is made aware of them...meaning people need to report them.

Anyone I have reported as a scammer seems to be deactivated fast so I can only speak of my experience. Because of confidentiality and lawsuits it is not like they are going to be able to report who is booted.

If you go back through your blocked list and unblock them I bet the majority are gone.

I have found just watching and reading posts is a great way to know the real from the fake. Scammers rarely say anthing of substance beyound the rate me forum or maybe the new member forum.

Set back and watch a while. It is like anytime you take an sling bait in the water the desperate scavengers scamper up all over you right away.

See this is the type of honesty you don't see often. I appreciate you bringing it up. Sadly I'm not the one that can help you but I wish more spoke up and reported the scumbags that troll sites like this pretending to be someone they are not. I've heard of one guy when I first signed up here really afraid to talk to me one time because he was screwed over by a dude posing as woman in India. Thank god no credit cards were involved.
