I didn't think I could but checked and I definitely would.
It would need to be an hour or two from a VA hospital is my only requirement. And I prefer a larger city ( equals better job prospects as an accountant ). Preferably with a football team, but it will be hard weaning me off the Cowboys. VA hospitals in cities I feel liveable for me. Dallas-Ft Worth Shreveport Denver Oklahoma City Orlando Honolulu And I'd consider others as well. What about you, would you relocate for someone? |

If I wanted marriage or a live in relationship yes I would. It would be easy for me cause I am retired and my kids are grown.I would just sell my house and go.
But...I don't want marriage or a live in relationship. What I would like is sometimes he stays ay my place, sometimes I stay at his and sometimes not together at all. Now thats not asking too much is it?

You too Eileena? That is cool. Yep, I was trying for years to get a transfer and sell my house but no go on either fronts, so TheCaptain and I packed up his stuff and drove it back to NY last month!

I am temporarily here for 3 to 4 years....3 if I can finish college on time, 4 because I think the transplant will put me back since I cannot schedule it around school.
Seems an awful long time to me.

If I found some one I thought was compatiable and I loved him I would consider relocateing. Probably not a really snowy community since Atlanta then California kind of spoiled me with so much pretty weather but to have a good mate it would be worth it.
I would just lock down my place and visit a few times before I made any big committment. Then I would try living near by localbefore I got into anything too serious. You might want to add Seattle/Tacoma and Sacramento to your list. Both have nice VA Centers and the climate is great. |

You know I have thought about this for a long time. Now really for me it would depend on how far the move was... I live close to both of my kids and grand kids... As well as my brother & sister. I have a easy job now own my own house and most likely unless it was not too far from my family I may change locations within this area but would not move out of town or far away from my family... It may be hot as hell here but this is home...

I am where I am for a reason.
It is not the place I would prefer to be but it is where I need to be. I care for my Dad and I am in Noooooo hurry for that to change. It has been my great pleasure to return to him.....my time, care, and support. A drop in the bucket compared to all he has done for me in my life. Sooooo......... I am happy to be here doing what I am doing. In the future.......... I would relocate for myself......or for the right Lady!!! |
