just finished watching Chronicles of Narnia Voyage of The Dawn Treader
the Narnia Chronicles were one of my son's favorite series years ago. The movie was very well done. |

Excellent. Even better than the first.

Lincoln Vampire Hunter - slightly campy fun and enjoyable.
Rock of Ages - Sadly, I'll never get that two hours of my life back. |

Excellent. Even better than the first. I agree.. it's rare they come out with bigger 'n better, at least it has been.. I think Hollywood is finally getting the hang of 'sequels'.. |

Lincoln Vampire Hunter - slightly campy fun and enjoyable. Rock of Ages - Sadly, I'll never get that two hours of my life back. I actually liked the twist from the 'typical' Vampire slayer roles.. show's they're realizing the need to stray from the same ol' boring/rehashed story-lines.. however.. I agree with your take on Rock of Ages.. wasn't impressed with many of the performances.. |

Oh good...this is one of the Redbox choices for tonight. We've had the crud at casa galendgirl, so we are burning through the video entertainment options! It's gonna be a quiet New Year's Eve! |

Last night I watched
In My Country great movie a fairly transparent political agenda (about S Africa) but a story well told that needs to be told. a really great movie |

Shot in real time. Definitely one of Bruce Campbell's most underrated movies.
I have 2 faves with him...
Burn Notice (current running tv series) and Army of Darkness ones.. |
Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, Army Of Darkness. Great trilogy. Sad we won't be getting an Evil Dead 4, now we're getting an Evil Dead remake minus an Ash.
My all time favorite Bruce Campbell performance is him as an elderly Elvis living in a rundown retirement home in Bubba Ho Tep. He's also hilarious as a drunk, obnoxious version of himself in My Name Is Bruce. |
