I was up at 5:30 and out of the house by 6:30...laid a patio by noon...fussed at the Geek Squad for 30 minutes this afternoon..came home and helped paint.. I had to wait to tell you off!! forgive me if I'm bitotchy!!

Good morning everyone, I'm up late, can't sleep and haven't been here for a while.. Laptop crashed and was in the shop for a week.. We have had some horrendous storms here this week, power outages and high winds.. But we finally got some much needed rain, an all day rain today.. Monday we had a gas well blow up, it's about 75 yards past my apartment and up the hill about a hundred yards. A 19 yr man was painting the storage tank when the well blew and was killed..( he was working a summer job for his fathers company), black smoke was seen for several miles.. Hope you all have a great day today! Oh, my! That is really a bad tragedy. I'm sorry to hear about the explosion. Now I've woken up to the news about the shooter in Aurora, CO this morning. Good morning, everyone...embrace your day and live fully. You just never know how many you'll get. Sorry if that sounds melancholy - it's not meant to, but it sure makes you reflect when you hear stuff like that.

Morning all, Finally cooled down a little and the sun is shining.. Going to spend some time with my grandson and future granddaughter today.. They're getting married in Oct. They bought a house in the country and have been busy painting and putting in a bamboo floor. Today we're going shopping for new appliances, I am buying them a new refrigerator for a wedding gift (they need it now as Anthony is moving in the house). Hope you all have a great weekend!
