love and sex are not the same thing why do people dont get that?

Because lust can bring selfish pleasure to those who indulge. Selfish "love" is something many become addicted to.

love and sex are not the same thing why do people dont get that? I agree sex can just be sex but love it becomes something else more intimate and more pleasurable |

Very true but love first

I understand sex. But, an understanding of love eludes me.

Because every guy wants sex, even the abstinent ones. If they find a goddess and she gives it up he's likely going to stick around a bit if their is anything their. If he's not a player he's going to think he loves her and sexual contact like orgasm releases chemicals in the brain that stimulate many different emotions. You have a hormonal experience.
The guy is going to feel this every time he has sex, he's going to crave it. The problem he's not actually craving the girl he's craving the sex. He's craving the chemical release he's craving the orgasm and release. See he can get that release with another girl but at the time he might get confused. Now if your a player or a guy who is all about the hunt then once your laid you go for the next girl. That is simply because your not dumb you know its a chemical reaction you know you can have that with someone else so you move on to the next girl. Girls seem to think if a guy screws them that theirs a relationship. I'm not a girl so I cant really explain it to much but I know a ton of girls who think they love the guy because he's having sex with them. Sorry sex is a chemical reaction in the brain and release of pent up energy. Sex isn't anything special if their isn't love with it. Because love cant be manufactured. You can pretend you can get confused but love is love and your not going to be able to screw your way to love! |

love and sex are not the same thing But they kinda are. Exactly...Sometimes love and sex are one in the same, sometimes love and sex are not even remotely related... |

It's pretty easy to see the difference, so I'm not sure why people don't get it.
IMO, sex is a , pleasurable, physical act. Love is priceless, enduring, endless, selfless and so much more. |

Honestly, who doesn't get it? Seems to me everyone gets it, except
perhaps those that don't want to get it, and only because it doesn't fit their agenda. |

love and sex are not the same thing But they kinda are. Exactly...Sometimes love and sex are one in the same, sometimes love and sex are not even remotely related... Society has decided that they are separate, so they are in people's minds. But there is a reason why sexual intercourse is called "Love making". It's the most intimate, vulnerable and beautiful act in which two people can engage. |

Yes Spider...I have experienced both....Sex with someone you love, someone who loves you, is not the same as loveless sex except it is...Sex is sex right?...Wrong! ....One is emotionally based, one is physically based....Even though the physical mechanics may be the same, the body's reaction to the act is not....With love added, there is another, completely separate, dimension to the physical act which takes sensation to a higher or different level...Pleasure and satisfaction increase, connection with your partner deepens, memory of the coupling often becomes permanent.... |

All I know is that I love sex, love to have it, but do admit that sex with someone you love is a great thing. Still, sex as just sex ain't a bad thing either. I'm just saying...it can be good. Haha!

love and sex are not the same thing why do people dont get that? I had a purely sexual thing with a guy I didn't even like. I couldn't stand his personality but I was crazy about his Jagger moves. We were like animals, ripping off each others clothes, getting our releases, but that's love man-wait that's not love. Love isn't only physical. We can fool ourselves all we want into believing this notion that just because the monkey sex was the best we've ever had, that its true love. The truth: guys will bang a girl he can't stand or thinks she's insane (in fact as long as she's HOT it doesn't matter lol), girls will manipulate a man with her body just to get what she wants. What people don't get is the vast separation. Sex can be a lot of things: fun, hardcore, raunchy, brief, long, "loving" or "passionate." Love is something that can't be explained because its different for everyone else when they begin to feel it. |

"Love making" is referring to a specific kind of sex. It's not always going to be "love making." |
