I remember my dad getting Time Magazine and they had a huge spread in it for Star Wars, went to the midnight premier that night. |

I was there with my very pregnant wife on opening day. Hard to believe that much time has passed.

I was 7. It's first time I remember seeing such a big line for a movie. Though it wasn't my first movie on the big screen, it's my most fondest memory of seeing a movie as a kid.

Novelty film It was. So different. Sci-fi, fantasy, outer space, a zoo picture.. |

It definitely was different, Lucas may have borrowed heavily from Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon, and Japanese cinema, but he made it his own.

Lucas Ranch north of the Bay Area. He was an unparalleled artist and graphic designer. I could have killed him when he took a higher paying job. |
