The United States is one of only three developed nations that doesn't have universal health care. The other two are Mexico and Turkey. Should that embarrass American citizens? Absolutely! Does it? Apparently not.

I guess the next question should be, what's wrong with Americans? I wish I knew. The only opposition to Obamacare should be that it doesn't go far enough, that it should be a single payer system at the very least.

I have an English half-sister. She's lived in England since she was a little girl, but she's retained her American citizenship, and she doesn't understand why the United States doesn't embrace nationalized health care. Sure, she finds plenty wrong with England's health care system, but she's very grateful that it at least has one that turns no one away and doesn't bankrupt people just because they're injured or happen to fall ill. Meanwhile, here in the US, we're left with the most expensive healthcare in the world, yet one that offers only mediocre results for its citizens.

Mention this to your elected representatives, and you'll either be ingored, or receive some nonsensical reply explaining why that won't work in America. Bullsh__!

Egyptians ousted Mubarik because they wanted a democratically elected government. Now they have one. Less that a year later, they're unhappy with that, too. Egyptians voted for what they have; they should stick it out like Americans do. It's not perfect, but democracy is the best form of government available.

I saw That's My Boy on the day it was released, and I must say that I was disappointed. Many of Sandler's films are much funnier. As for my favorite funny movie, I'd have to rate Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Hangover, and Hot Tub Time Machine and the top of my list.
