That kid, the dad I mean, is so dumb he was almost funny. Wonder if he knew those doors lock. Guess he couldn't afford Disneyland and gave the kid an E-Ticket ride. Can we ride again, Daddy????

I did a couple stupid, "man" things when my kids were little. Yes, fortunately no one got seriously hurt and good thing the attendant was handy to stop the machine. Good thing, when my kids were growing up all the laundromat had was upright washers.

Closest I ever got to something like that was when my brother and I were playing hide and seek in the house. He hid in the dryer and I couldn't resist. I stood in front of the door and turned it on for a bit... no one got hurt. just dizzy. He was 10 and I was 12. The Good Ole Days

The bad part is CPS most likely deemed them as fit parents. OK, I can see maybe if they were to make a verbal joke about it, but to actually put their child in danger so recklessly? They should be forced to take parenting classes, and their progress in the classes should determine whether or not they are fit to have children.

The phrase E ticket (or E ticket ride) refers to an unusually interesting, thrilling, or expensive experience. It derives from the admission ticket system used at the Disneyland and Magic Kingdom theme parks before 1982, where the E ticket (officially termed "E coupon") admitted the bearer to the newest, most advanced, and/or most popular rides and attractions.
