Yet here you are, debating God....of your own free will. Or is that a myth too?

I have to abide by the rules handed down by the Moderator Gods of Mingle2 ...which is why I have not the Free Will to post anything I choose, which is why "Free Will" even in here is a myth

as long as you as forced to eat food drink water and find shelter in order to live and have no choose but to eventually die ...why would you even consider that you have "Free Will"

why do you "have" to believe in something? ....didn't the God you believe in give you "Free Will"?

What are you talking about? No one is trying to "prove" God. God needs no proving. God wants us to love him. This is done by a CHOICE. If God was proven to be absolute, there would be no le-way for us to "choose" to come to him or not.

Thats a big "10-4" Cowboy.

Im sorry Funches, your breakin up, come again!

don't worry...Cowboy as usual will contradict himself in the next post

technology allows me to respond to your post...

as long as you are under the jurisdiction of the "Outside Forces" which are the laws of physics the laws of man or the laws of a God (if you believe)then believing that you have "Free Will" is a sign of delusion

just because one has a thought process to respond doesn't mean they have the "Free Will" or the "Will" period to respond or carry out that function ...

FOR EXAMPLE:
process a thought to fly to the moon without any technology then use your "Free Will" to complete that function ...it should be a snap for you since you have "Free Will"

I'll check the News Channels periodically to see when you made it...remember to wave

You will need to use your "Free Will" to check the channels...besides i've already been to the moon and back a number of times. I'm now setting my sights on planet Urdu...where, i believe the natives are friendly and use their "free will" unabashedly and without bias. Wanna come?

Interesting that you are talking of free will.

For if God is all knowing and everything works according to God's plan do you really have free will or are you a puppet being pulled by the strings in accordance with God's plans.

I take the stance that God does indeed have plans but you can stray out of them...thus you have free will.

Free will doesn't mean you CAN do anything you wish, what are you talking about? Free will means you can do what you want to with your will. You can serve God the father, or not. You can have a pizza for dinner, or not, and so forth and so forth.

But with enough faith and will, one could move the world. Nothing is impossible with God.

But again, free will doesn't mean you can fly, doesn't mean you can breath under water. Free will, is choice. Just that, nothing more, ntohing less. You are the one that makes YOUR decisions on what you wish to do through this life. Thus is why we will be judged when Jesus returns.

True, I personally do not believe God has a "plan" for each and everyone of us that can not be detoured. For one, it wouldn't make much sense, nor is it supported by the knowledge we are given about God.

Because if that was the case, God's plan would be for most people to burn in the lake of fire, then to enjoy the glories of Heaven. No, that would be pointless. If God was to have made us "programmed" or made a set in stone plan for our lives, a plan... then no one would ever miss out on the glories of Heaven. And what would be the purpose of doing it this way? If he was going to do it that way, why not just make us automatically in Heaven?

Matthew 7
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
-------------

So if there was no free will, no choice. Why would God then automatically program people to have these results? Why would God waste his time and energy on creating something that was going to be destroyed in the end? He wouldn't. It is man that destroys themselves, no one else to blame but themselves.

not necessarily..once you make history by making it to the moon the channel will switch to that News Satellite feed automatically

besides i've already been to the moon and back a number of times.

some in this forum even claim they been to Heaven and back ..you should feel right at home here
