I agree there may or may not be God. Personally, I would much rather believe in God than the mumbo-jumbo the universe just conveniently happened. if it's impossible to believe that something just conveniently happened ...then why wouldn't that same impossibility apply to God I wrote I'd rather believe in God if I'm going to believe in improbabilities. After all, the big bang theory tells the same story of creation but without God. How did the writers of the Bible know this? So through reference like that I believe God does exist. I mean, I surely hope so. the point it seems that your statement was trying to make was that you rather believe in one Mumbo Jumbo over another Mumbo Jumbo, whether it's the one singularity of the Big Bang or God himself...if "conveniently happened" is an improbability....then neither could have popped out of nothingness and had to have been created Well you "have" to believe in something. I choose God because of the Bible. Not anything I can really put my finger on. That's why it is called "blind faith" isn't it? why do you "have" to believe in something? ....didn't the God you believe in give you "Free Will"? What are you talking about? No one is trying to "prove" God. God needs no proving. God wants us to love him. This is done by a CHOICE. If God was proven to be absolute, there would be no le-way for us to "choose" to come to him or not. You have to believe in something because there is no possible way to not believe in something in that exact tense. If you do not believe in God, you then believe "God" to be false. "to "have" to believe"... only proves how "Free Will" is a myth .... How so? God doesn't force us to believe in him or not believe in him. That is what free will is, it is choice. Cowboy... you stated that you "have" to believe in something ...if you have "Free Will" then explain why you "have" to believe in something Because again Free will is choice. You have the choice to believe IN God the father or not. But either way it's believing. You either "believe" in God the father or "believe" God the father is a myth. Cowboy...that doesn't answer the question ......come on and try to stay focus..... you claim that you "have" to believe in something ...explain why you "have" to do anything if you have 'Free Will" stop trying to slip around the question ...if you can't answer it then admit it Not slipping around anything, I answered your question. It is impossible to not believe in anything, in that exect sense. You believe either way, either in it, or that it's false. You either BELIEVE in God, or you BELIEVE God is false. You either BELIEVE in big bang, or you BELIEVE big bang is false You either BELIEVE in evolution or you BELIEVE evolution is false. |

Thus, we have free will to do what we wish to do. God has set up a reward for our obedience, the reward is eternal life through Jesus Christ. You don't HAVE to do what it takes to acheive this gift. But again, that's where your free will plays in. You choose to obey God or not obey God eg., free will. |

You have to believe in something because there is no possible way to not believe in something in that exact tense as I stated to "Luv2roknroll"....you would contradict yourself |

You have to believe in something because there is no possible way to not believe in something in that exact tense as I stated to "Luv2roknroll"....you would contradict yourself Context Funches, CONTEXT. You're very good at taking things out of context, try using your super powers at keeping them in context. I'll explain further, just for you Funches. Quote 1 - You don't have to do anything, as in you don't have to believe if you don't wish. You don't HAVE to obey God if you do not wish. You do not HAVE to do anything in the sense you are preprogrammed or a puppet on a string. Quote 2 - You can't be without a belief, just as you can't be without an opinion. You either will believe something is true, or you will believe it is untrue. |

God is only a theory....to make a claim that a theory gives you a choice to believe that it's a theory or not a theory is delusional

God is only a theory....to make a claim that a theory gives you a choice to believe that it's a theory or not a theory is delusional Please explain. God is a theory ...claiming that a theory itself is sentient ..points to a possible mental malfunction |

God is only a theory....to make a claim that a theory gives you a choice to believe that it's a theory or not a theory is delusional Please explain. What does a theory and delusion have anything to do with one another? Theory - the general or abstract principles of a body of fact, a science, or an art Delusion - a false belief regarding the self or persons or objects outside the self that persists despite the facts and occurs in some psychotic states A theory is based on a fact. And there's again many third party evidence of Jesus Christ and his teachings. Not specifically that his teachings were true, that comes by faith, but the fact Jesus did exist and do as the scriptures say can be backed by many third party sources. So no, the scriptures in the bible are more in the theory area, then delusion. |

God is only a theory....to make a claim that a theory gives you a choice to believe that it's a theory or not a theory is delusional Please explain. God is a theory ...claiming that a theory itself is sentient ..points to a possible mental malfunction You do realize that a theory is based on facts right? So now you're moving from delusion where there are no facts, to a theory, where there are atleast some proven facts? Why the sudden change in views Funches? |

What does a theory and delusion have anything to do with one another? God is a theory and you made your theory sentient which is delusional...a delusion is real to the one having the delusion ... a theory is simply that....a theory ...it is not sentient |

for those who have not believe in Almight God, then they should go to a sea with a pot and fill all that sea in that pot.
i know that people will think that i am crazy but of course i am not. as one cannot fill sea in a pot this is how God is such a great that we can't even think of His existance. |

What does a theory and delusion have anything to do with one another? God is a theory and you made your theory sentient which is delusional...a delusion is real to the one having the delusion ... a theory is simply that....a theory ...it is not sentient So what you're saying, God has emotions? I totally agree. Sentient - Able to perceive or feel things |
