I know the majority of my Mingle friends do not know. I ran off to Texas with an internet boyfriend. NOT from Mingle. It was a huge disaster which resulted in me being in the hospital and very ill and having to have my Dad come and get me out of that situation and bring me back to the family homestead.

It was all a very bad scene. I am just grateful my folks still love me enough to do that and are still alive and that I made it back to California alive. I am glad I did not leave the country like I have been asked to do so many times.

I do not really want to discuss it much more than that. I am getting stabilized here. It will be months before I am okay again and able to live on my own.

That sounds horrible! I'm glad you are okay.

My friends are saying they hope it hasn't broken my spirit. I do not know if I will date again.

From what I hear, he treats the cat well which is more than I can say for how he treated me. MUCH MORE. The day my stuff was delivered and he thought he had me trapped, all chaos broke loose.

As my friend says, I escaped with all my fingers and toes and no tattoos on my forehead. Chalk the rest up to a very expensive and bad learning experience.

Hi all,

Just an update. I move into an apartment on the first. I know I move quick. As Jack says, I am "not a take it hard kind of girl".

I seriously want no pets this time. Well, that's not entirely true. I have a beautiful pothos from the old apartment that my dad saved for me. That's a house plant for those who do not know. I would like a pet rat but will probably settle for a goldfish. I miss my pet rat, Humphrey. After Bogart. It was a female as big as most puppies.

My psycho ex bought some things on my Amazon account using his card and wanted to return them. He demanded my account name and password and when I said no went into profanities and called the cops who called for my side of the story and they closed the case. He is so dumb. He called my folks complaining. I went in and made him an RA as a PDF and emailed it to the loser.

The guy willing to wait and hang out for me to get better did NOT. He wanted more. So that is over.

I have one friend on here who is an IIFB. Impossible Internet Fantasy Boyfriend. Meaning he is geographically undesirable but we still write.

I honest to god may go with no internet access except my Android and logging in from my folks house 2 miles away. The internet has been a big source of trouble for me.

Ya, I am POed about the cat but last I saw him, he was happy as heck to have 2200 sq foot home in the country. My new place is about a quarter of that size. There will be massive donations to the Good will.

I am in therapy and seeing a doctor. I am doing really well considering.
