Care to post the menue? I didn't get there until after work on Friday but we had completely amazing smoked steaks, mushrooms ala carold, potato salad, stuffed peppers, pie and fudge (that's all I can remember from my food coma.) |

Care to post the menue? Thursday Night Kristi and Hot Lips arrived to Chicken and Sausage Gumbo Friday Morning, Kristi and Hot Lips awoke to Spicy Butter blackened shrimp over Garlic Cheese (Emmental and Parmesan) Grits! 
Orange cranberry muffin tops and/or Blackened shrimp omelet with Emmental covered with Habanero Chilpotle sauce. With homemade Coconut Curry bread with cherries and walnuts. Lunch Friday (I really don't remember). I think it was leftover Gumbo and Tequila shots. Friday Evening. Some jalapenos stuffed with shrimp and cheddar and/or Monterrey jack pepper cheese wrapped in bacon and slow pecan smoked. Thick cut steaks seasoned with Canadian Style pepper salt and slow smoke roasted to medium rare. Jalapeno mustard Texas potato salad Cantaloupe and watermelon Saturday morning. Soft tacos of BBQ Beef, cheese, and scrambled eggs with choice of sauces. Saturday lunch Girls went to the Strawberry Festival while I feed Ese BBQ! Saturday night! More smoked jalapenos stuffed with shrimp and cheese and wrapped in bacon. BBQ Shmoo! The best you ever tasted. Texas Shrimp/crab cocktail (it was to die for!!) Ese's mother's Barracho beans Texas jalapeno Mustard potato salad Hot Lips Black and white fudge World's Largest Strawberry Shortcake!!! (1200 square feet) Cantalope Watermelon spiked with pineapple rum Breakfast today! Coconut curry bread with cherries and walnuts toasted and covered with Texas Pecan Smoked sausage and BBQ beef sauteed with jalapeno shrimp cheese and habanero chilpotle egg scramble Chocolate covered, peanut butter stuffed jalapenos The girls turned up their noses at my famous cheddar pepper slaw!! I am sure I am forgetting some things. |

I'd like to offer a great big "THANK YOU" to metalwing for opening his home to us, for cooking amazing BBQ and generally being the host with the most all weekend. i'll second that emotion. who could have guessed a pig's "sty" to be so nice. only complaint i got is that i got better gas mileage going than coming back. i figure joe's bbq must have added weight to the driver |

Talk about good time and Jersey Girl showed up
Party Hardy was going on through the night we had to make Ese"s go to bed and Of course I had to drive them women to the hotel some of us can't handle our drinks. I mean one just had one even though it was a mighty big glass you know everything is big in texas. Besides Joes great bbq, shrimp cock and stuffed peppers someone spiked the watermelon  If I had known I might not of hit that curb but we're all fine 
We finally get to bed and talk about snoring shhhh don't tell but hell how can someone sleep. And Kristy talks in her sleep she can tell some pretty funny stories but I'm sworn to secretcy. Only because she is younger and might be able to kick my a$$ 
Oh well I've been banished from the room till these 3 girl get up which who knows how along I'll be stuck in this little room typing to you fine people

OMG......Carol ya ate shrimp cock did ya eat the whole thing???? So of course when we got back to Joe's the Vivian got busy to try the recipe out.........another awesome success...
