A life of leisure, or a life of accomplishment? Why?

Well, living a life of leisure would be quite an accomplishment.

Well, living a life of leisure would be quite an accomplishment. So... which is more appealing? The life of leisure, or the accomplishment of a life of leisure? They can't be equally appealing, unless they are. |

A life of leisure, or a life of accomplishment? Why? I am going to have to go with a life of leisure after a life of accomplishments :-) 'For everything, there is a season..' |

'For everything, there is a season..' Who wrote that song? I can't remember, although I spent half the morning trying to put my finger on which country singer came up with that line. Or maybe I've heard it from some RAPper. The grim rapper. |

Give me a hammock under a couple shady trees, a warm breeze, a good book and a good woman laying next to me.

A life of leisure may get boring after about a month for me.

A life of accomplishment.
I can always look back on accomplishment with pride. Not so much with leisure. Not to say having both would not be great. But we already have enough reward without accomplishment out there as is. Ask me again in 30 years or so after I have accomplished everything. |

I'd have to go with a life of accomplishment with leisure mixed in.

Accomplishment. I'll have plenty of time for leisure when I'm dead.

A life of leisure, or a life of accomplishment? Why? Depends on what one wants out of life. |

Neither, true happiness remains elusive in both.

Neither, true happiness remains elusive in both. I was asking which was more appealing, not which equaled true happiness. |
