Gooood Morning~~~~~ Gawd I'm glad it is Friday!!! Good thing I got my yard mowed last night it ended up raining during the night.... 
That rain is supposed to hit here in a few hours. They said it had a lot of wind but would blow through fast. It POURED and stormed - wind, lightening, thunder HARD for about an hour...but by the time we got to The Woodlands it was about over and it was a nice evening, after all. Slightly chilly - felt great (cuz summer's around the corner!) |

Hi, Texas people! Busy morning- late lunch. Tonight a visit to The Woodlands for the symphony. It's a tribute to Queen...and while it won't be Freddy Mercury, it should be fun! Gotta love Texas :) I have to tell you, this concert was more, more, more fun than I could have guessed. They had a band up front with full orchestra behind and a singer that imitated Freddy Mercury REALLY well...mannerisms, vocals. Pretty cool! Everything from Melancholy Blues to Stone Cold Crazy and most of the big hits in between. I had no idea a tribute concert with the symphony could be so great! I'm so glad I went instead of wrapping up a heavy work week with going straight home. Now to unwind a little and head to bed... Goodnight, Texas... See ya'll tomorrow! |

howdy y'all. only a few games left in the 2011-2012 basketball season. houston has 32 wins and 31 losses, so that puts them out of the playoffs. dallas has 36 wins and 28 losses, they are ranked 6th and are in the playoffs. san antonio has 46 wins and 16 losses, they are ranked 1st and are in the playoffs
