Ended up visiting with a friend of mine I have not seen for a long time...worked with her for several years... and her daughter went to school with mine... not happy with the terms that brought us back together but yet it has made me do some deep thinking... If ya all could say a prayer for my friend Becky. Found out tonight she has cancer. She was told 8 months ago her cancer was in remission and should be for at least three years. She found out two months ago after only six months of remission it was back in her hip and spine... And on top of all that she is on the verge of loosing the house she has lived in for 16y years... A very different friend reunion than mine. Positive thoughts and prayers...

Afternoon all been a busy day for me got up early and went to work at my part time job.. Humm the offices have not been cleaned in like two years guess who got to do that chore? I'm give plum out... Then after that went to watch my granddaughter play baseball... Think I need a nap ........ Waiting on a friend to call then going to go visit them for a bit... And I still have not gotten my bathroom back together after doing some painting in there...

I skipped the housework today...there's always tomorrow. I experienced my first "ring dunking" and had a daylight grand tour of A&M and surrounding Aggieland. Every time I learn a little more about Texas, the more I am glad to be here. Texas rocks!

It was pretty nice, thanks. I think today needs to be a little quieter. It's not like there isn't ironing or laundry telling me to stay home. It just doesn't have that special something that pushes it to the first choice of activities list. Good morning, Texas!
