I just read a headline in a local newspaper. Those meanies were talking about how Van Dyke, looked fragile. As he was "slumped over a shopping trolley, looking not much like his 'Bert the chimney sweep' character". What do they expect? He's eighty six. And we care what he looks like? Please. Do me a favour. Dick Van Dyke is a true legend. People may belittle his cockney accent, but that gets as old as the last decade. It's like the nay sayers can't come up with anything new. And wow, to think he's still in the business at eighty six is very impressive. He's definitely done a lot with his life. If only more people could be as respectful as he is. He is massive.
