I can give you one reason, but by no means the only reason. Women have to work because it takes two incomes nowdays. They work, take care of the house, shopping, etc... They take care of the kids the majority of the time so with all of this, unless the man helps her, there is little time left to her day. The man does not feel he gets enough attention, pouts, complains and then goes and cheats. Then he doesn't want the responsibilities, so he leaves. If he had helped with all these other things that need to be done, then they would have both had time enough for each other. I add that this is NOT all men, and there are many wonderful men out there. I have just seen this scenario play out quite often these days.

I remember living with a guy that didn't do anything around the house so I did my chores and his. Then, he decided he wanted sex and I told him I was too tired from doing his chores and mine.

I have just seen this scenario play out quite often these days. yes women wage earners somehow forgot to bargain off half the housework...I think sometimes too, it;s not that the man does anything rotten like cheating or being totally neglectful but some gals just decide he's like having one more kid around the house when they had bargained for a PARTNER not one more to pick up after - and just decide it's easier & less hassle to be free of him...unfortunately I don;t see this as much with younger people tho

Everyone I know has ended up single.... being a woman got nothing to do with it.
