Im 39 and ive never asked a guy out. I always wait4them to ask me out. So i wonder what should a lady do when she planto make a first move?or is it besto wait4him to make a move first? And if he doesomething helpfull, isithat hes interested and available or maybe hes just a kind man helping people.hm iwonder what actions would really impress a guy and then you haveto figure out a way noto make him feel awkwrd, what ifyou ask him out and hes not intrstd, and not all guys wear their wedding rings.

If you're interested, ask him out. It's not that hard.

I have never gotten the hang of the 'signals' thing.

Unless he's being really obvious, I never know when someone's interested or being friendly...I've only ever asked people out when I've been a bit tipsy

I would literally die of embarrassment if I misread the situation wrong and thought someone was interested when they wasn't.

I am with singme on this one... What's the harm in just saying "Hey lets go out somewhere" ...worst can happen is he will tell you the truth. I can live with that.

Nope me either. I have asked out guys before. I figure you don't get if you don't ask.

You never ask men out? Ever? That's quite an old fashioned way of doing things.

Some guys are very shy. They will mention wanting to go somewhere to see if you are interested in going with or something I have found a lot. Although I will tell you how I avoid scammers in person, I have a website where I can verify identities. Very much phonebooky kind of information. If a legit guy really is into you, esp. successful ones, often they will all but fax you their financials I have found if you say you want to verify them. Or they will sit on the phone while you verify them. It's pretty funny. They will do whatever to prove they are real. I have literally been sent all of their bios off their businesses, etc. in addition to them sitting on the phone while I verified them. They usually want a copy of whatever I pull up or if they come over to play with my verifier site. Non-legit guys freak if you say "verify". Anyway, I never run background checks on anybody. If a guy freaks over he word, "verify". One) he is not too computer savvy and Two) probably is not legit or has something to hide. Therefore, I always end up going on dates with very successful men even though they generally go nowhere.

So what happens when the guy you want is too shy to ask you out as well?

I seriously met a very successful man locally who wanted to ask me out badly, his line "Oh, you don't have a Costco membership? Would you like to go to Costco with me to get your toilet paper and coffee?" I am not kidding. He's very shy and a great person but he did not know how to ask me out.

Relax. Remember, you're posting on a public forum. I'm sorry you didn't like my comment. I just find it interesting that some women still refuse to make the first move. That's all.

While I generally would not ask a gentlman for the first date I see nothing wrong in offering someone you would be interested in if they would like coffee.

Nothing will hold a guy back from asking you

out, ,if he is truly interested in you .

If he is very shy, a guy will STILL find ways of letting you

know that he is interested....trust me on this....shy or not shy.

Always Wait for the guy to ask you out..it's better that

way, simply because guys prefer to be the Pursuer.
