I never would have realized that my being ugly was such a hugely valuable asset. You guys made me feel soooooo good. You, who complain of nudges, and carry grudges. Well, I have an excuse or two: 1.) I actually wouldn't mind getting nudges if they came from real people. 2.) Complaining about things is fun, and it makes for good satire sometimes. 3.) I don't think I'm getting nudged because of my looks. I'm no Brad Pitt over here. I think the yellow box has more to do with it than anything else. (And don't get me wrong, I love my yellow box -- but I think it does make me a more visible target sometimes.) |

Nudges and the under 31s who actually write, despite mentioning that in the profile. Rolls eyes. Why has no under-31-year-old ever written to me? One explanation would be that nobody else ever writes to me, so why should they? |

First things first... Lex, can you honestly blame them for wanting to try to get in your pants? That raw manlytude is a force of nature and getting hit on is part of the package. I guess I just don't see it!! I'm just a normal guy in a very boring state (Indianastan) and I wrote a few books....not really exciting or anything, just maybe slightly out of the ordinary....! Secondly, you gots da power to get that retarded nudge thing eliminated. Do it at night when everyone is asleep, I doubt anyone would complain. That is a good idea and I will have to see if I can bribe Mark and Charles on that one. I don't know if it will work, though; they shot me down when I asked for a separate server for my profile. They said my profile was already long enough and that they needed the money to buy the Dodgers or something. As far as the Yahoo scammers, just tell them,... "I will Yahoo you after you send me $20 so I will know that you are for real" That is also a good idea. If I get enough twenty-dollar bills, I can use them to bribe Mark and Charles. That is some good stuff bro! |

Like the pic Lex! Thank you, it only took me 4 1/2 hours of putzing around on Picasa to make it presentable! Dude! Picassa????...negative (seriously) Photoscape...it's free, super easy and works great! I actually have a Photoshop disc that my ex gave me a few years back -- she worked for a graphic arts company and used the program a lot -- I just haven't installed it on the laptop yet because I don't know where the disc is. But I'll take a look at Photoscape -- |

It's way easier and smoother.
I use Gimp2. Same as Photoshop but it's free..... for the complex stuff. |

It is an impatient world. I think folks just look at the photos, see where you live and check out if you smoke, drink or not. After that, they move on mostly. If they poke, nudge or whaterever it is their way of saying here I am. Justme...nothing different u said,but it is very nice to read. BTW...after reading that I wished to know more about u & wished to see ur profile,but I didn't,because I usually don't! |

I put in my profile..."And if you plan on sending me a nudge, please follow up with an email, I will not respond to nudges without follow up email. After a while my tush gets sore from all the swift kicks, and my ribs are cracked from all the pokes. And I swear by all that's holy I wont kiss or hug a stranger." Nudges, pokes and hugs and not one danged email from anyone of the nudgers and pokers.  Lex, you shortened your profile? What is this world comming to?
It's an experiment. Frankly, it hasn't produced the results I had hoped for. My next profile is probably going to be the Burger King menu. think I already mentioned on here somewhere that I'll take a burger & fries |
