I have made friends that are precious to me and found a place i can just be me.

We both attended the same school. Together from age 15 to age 27. These days it's way too difficult to expect a woman/man to commit to all of these relationship requirements. Think of it as a list of chores. Do this, do that. It's no wonder they run in the opposite direction. And it doesn't actually seem that realistic, well, not these lists of requirements. I don't see anyone changing themselves anytime soon for someone they've never met. What would be MORE realistic is letting a relationship build up naturally, just like how your friends became your friends. It really doesn't have to be such a damn fantasist situation.
