I am on the fence on hate crimes to be honest

but the way I understand it is that it is to protect people from attacks they may suffer due to things they are not in control of, or things they were born as

like attacked for gender, or for race, or now, for sexual preference

waving a flag is not someting I consider out of someones control, its a pretty conscious choice and would fall in with other ignorant crimes that happen because someone disapproves of what someone else believes or does....

I have no final decision as to who I will vote for in 2012, until I see the final candidates and can observe them in action and on the spot during the debates. But these are some things that cause me to still support this President, despite failures he has seen during this term. For me, he has had more successes than anything else and his efforts have been towards those things that caused me to vote for him in the first place (even whey they have been stopped or reversed by the rest of government,,ie,,,congress)



1. Held Bp responsible for the spill as opposed to APOLOGIZING to them.

2. Increased funding for firemen and police and helped save jobs.

3. Rate of job LOSS in the US has greatly decreased.

4. Launched investigatin of Blue Cross after extreme price hikes.

5. Investigated BP after the oil spill.

6. Stopped the practice of credit card companies of increasing rates based off of debts to other creditors.

7. Increased pell grant funding.

8. Tax cuts to 95 percent of working americans.

9. Fraud enforcement act to investigate fraud in home lending.

10. Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act

11. Good riddance to Osama Bin Laden.

12. START treaty

13. Support in Bringing down Ghaddafi with no american casualties.

14. lower taxes than EVER in my lifetime

15. Increased information available online at white house site

16. Limited salary of white house aides.

17. Attempting to close GItmo

18. Funded armor and mine resistant vehicles for the military

19. No more 'no bid' defense contracts(sorry haliburton)

20. Families of Fallen Heroes Act

21. Authorized numerous discussions and operations to have americans freed from foreign land or foreign captives.(N Korea, Somali)

Well, I give him credit for what he has done but he was in position to do so much more and didn't because of his damn cooperation crap.

I have been writing letters and stuff to try to get him to show more balls.

But we have no problem with him getting back in office with all the loons that are opposing him. There isn't a viable candidate to challenge him.

I just hope he doesn't disappoint the next four years. I have been disappointed with him this last four.

That isn't what happened. Bush would have confirmed the order to kill as soon as the identity was confirmed... or maybe bombed the whole compound. But all the steps to find Obama were put in place by Bush, not Obama.

You know perfectly well that isn't what it says. Bush put into motion the CIA action that trailed Osama's couriers. This one had been tracked since 2008 but they weren't sure of the identity of his destination until Obama got in office.
