Topic: I GOT MY ARSE SPANKED!!!

Hummm I was not a perfect child but I was a good child.... Only got one spanking and that was all due to my step mother... Why cause I skipped school for 3 weeks before they found out... She never took the time to find out why just told my dad to whoop my azz and I was 12 at the time... I skipped school due to she had decided to move our family from the district we were in to one that was much rougher. Ended up the neighbor hood was totally black made it hard. Ended up I watched girls being drugged into the restrooms for their lunch money then a boy decided to lift my dress as I was going up the steps. I was scared as hell cried all day. Ended up another boy finally told the teacher why I was crying... So I decided I was not going back to school. Believe it or not I was a very shy and quiet when I was growing up.. I got my azz whooped with a belt... what did I learn? That my step mother was cold hearted and I made sure that I always keep the communication lines opened with my kids.. Well also made sure that while my kids were young I would not put them in that same position... as far as with a step parent.. Even though I know there are many out there that make great step parents I was not willing to take that chance.. Even though it was only one it left a lasting memory... That is terrible, but at least you stopped the cycle, and didnt carry it into your adulthood, with your kids. And you did turn out to be a wonderful person, that is loved by all. As years pass and I see kids getting away with behaviour that I woulda got my @$$ whipped for.....I am fortunate for my upbringing. Yeah, like when I was at Walmart last week shopping, and this little boy wanted a toy. His mother told him "NO" and to "put it back". At this point he looks her dead in the eye and says, "NO I WONT,AND YOUR A BIOTCH", but he actually said the word!! So she says "fine" grabs the toy and throws it into the cart. If that would have been me, I probably wouldnt be talking to you today! Shshs that is a kid that needs his azz whooped I can say neither of my kids would not even think of saying something like that to me as they were growing up nor today... I was totally in shock! And had to make myself just shut up and walk away, because if was none of my buisness. You have no idea how hard that was for ME, THE MOUTH, to do, but I did. Maybe im getting alittle better.

no I was not ever spanked after the age of 3 or 4 as far as I can remember. And I was not spanked harshly. And my own children were never spanked after that age and very seldom at all, at any age. When I did, it was pretty much one wake up whack over top of a thick diaper to get their attention ....for example if they were running toward the road (we lived on a country road where the cars acame by pretty fast) It has just never been a real part of my family's aura if a step parent wants to spank my son - let her try - he's 17, 6 ft tall, and wears a size 12 or 13 shoe....

YOu are required to have a license to fish, and to drive, or to hunt, but ANYONE can have a child, no matter what kind of person they may be, and I think its a bad thing. At the very least, make them take a parenting class or something. Thats why abuse just gets passed from generation, to generation. All that alot of people know about parenting, is how they were raised, and they pass it on to their children. And unfortunaltely, it isnt always good. JMO

Somebodys gonna get hurt, somewhere along the way. Either the child, or the people the child is exposed to, or both.

If I ever tried to do some of the things I see some of these kids doing today, I'd be buried in the back yard, my brother would have a totally different younger brother, and no one would have said a word about it.

If I ever tried to do some of the things I see some of these kids doing today, I'd be buried in the back yard, my brother would have a totally different younger brother, and no one would have said a word about it. uhhuh, me too but our parents must have been 'abusing' us,,,,, Me 3....My momma didnt take no mess from us at all. I was the baby, and by the time she got to me, she had already seen and heard it all, so I didnt get away with nothing. Maybe thats why I turned out a rebel, and insted of going to college, formed a rock band, and went on the road playing everywhere, but if I could do it over again, I wouldnt change a thing. She did raise me to have a big heart,and care, and love, and I think thats whats most important.

When I was just a kid my Father accused me of lying to him.He slapped me really hard across the face.The sad thing is I wasn't lying. To this day if someone lies to me I feel that "Slap" all over again.It makes me feel so betrayed .
