A fruit pie or two would be nice,
Or a watermelon in a tub of ice. Perhaps some cranberries in a pile of goo, We could share it together, both me and you. A ham, a turkey, or maybe a goose, Would go well with Christmas on the loose. A bottle of wine or maybe a beer, toasts to all with Holiday Cheer! |

To all my favorite poet friends
As darkness falls and daylight ends, Another season tries to close With thoughts of family and of those Who's presence lights my days year through. My thanks and best holiday wishes to you! |

With thanks to Dr. Seuss...
Every Mingler On Mingle Liked Christmas a lot... But the Grinch, Who lived just North of Mingle, Did NOT! The Grinch hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season! Now, please don't ask why. No one quite knows the reason... But he knew every Mingler on Mingler beneath Found friendship and love 'neath a mistleoe wreath. So they posted their rhymes and They shared Christmas cheer For the holiday season And for the new year... |

Along came a bear
With all of the fixin's. To make a big pie (He wus ready for mixin'.) A barrel of berries A few hives of bees. Some stolen flour! (Some bears are thieves!) He mixed and he mingled He put the berries thus He smiled as he worked! (Cause he was thinking of us!) The end result I am happy to say Was a giant pie. That he ate Today. |

Today the young cub came home to the nest
Telling me that he likes berry pie best But in college he eats with a knife and a fork For he loves most of all the sales on PORK! (Watch out all flying pigs!) |

A New Year Beer
and a little wine One is yours One is mine. Now we need A little fire To sit and chat For many an hour. Some laughs for sure Will be heard. Some speak of wit! Some speak of nerd. But a new time is here More important than beer. Real friends will last For more than a year. |

Mingle, mingle on the wall...
In the office, down the hall... On the sofa, living room... In the morning and afternoon... Up all night talking chit... Sleep won't come, gosh darn it... Everyday they make me smile... TV off, don't touch the dial... For all I want to do today... Is Mingle here, come on lets play... |

Play she wants
And plays she gets. No softball for her! Let's dispense with mitts! We'll create some fun, And call it a game, With tears of joy, But nothing in fame. And play we shall, You saucy wench Grab a Screwdriver! I'll grab a wrench! |
|
|
|
Tool belt on here I come...
You and me will have some fun... Nuts and bolts, it's all the same... Pick your flavor, name your game... For daddy taught me, taught me well... Don't let them Princess your heart swell... Learn to cook and learn to sew.... But something else you need to know... These tools of mine will set you free... You'll never say "Do this for me"... |
