I gave my older sister, Vickey money to get back up to Branson. Don't let it be said that Arkansas isn't the land of opportunity. Now she will have the opportunity to go back home.

Well, Dora said that she just didn't have the $4000 it would take to fix the electrical problem that her boyfriend, Jeff caused. It wasn't that Vickey didn't believe that Jeff was the one at fault because Jeff used to be Vickey's boyfriend. Vickey just thinks that Dora had the money to fix the problem. But I don't think that Vickey takes time in account because Jeff has been with Dora for a lot longer than he was with Vickey. When you try to calculate the number of times Jeff has screwed up multiplied by each individual screw up minus how many times she has been able to help him with reason and divide it by the compounded frustration he has caused her it really does add up. I would have thought Vickey would have known that since she used to live with him. Vickey does realize that I could take her mooching off me for a short amount of time but that time is decreased by the other moochers she brought down with her. Plus, I really came out ahead by paying them to take the chicken house down in exchange for them to have enough money to leave the state. I mean I already got one moocher living with me. I can't really afford another one or more. I hope Missouri can show them more than I could since I know it is the 'show me' state.

I am really thankful to Jamie for letting me get the 1984 Dodge Ram Prospector from him. I have been trying to buy it from him for a year now. We finally came to terms. He went down from $1500 to $500. It has the 318 motor in it. Yeah. Its a v8. But I sure like driving it. Paid $250 this week and the other $250 on payday; This coming Thursday. Its a two tone; Meaning purple and white. Body is in great shape. It is mechanically sound. It needs a transmission leak fixed which is just the pan covering the filter. It has this drip. Needs the filter and fluid changed. It needs a tune up and the oil filter and fluid changed but other than that you have to hold the lever down so that the right turn signal flashes. He took out the radio but the tires are good. I got a hell of a good deal as he is a mechanic and has tried to keep it up. He just had too many vehicles that needed insurances and he has been taking me back and forth to work when Stu wasn't. I am happy with my truck and in no hurry on the van being fixed. Car Tec can take their time fixing and finding whats up with the electrical on the van.

Dora told me that Jeff messed up only one half of the electrical on that house and that woman that came with Vickey flicked the switch that really messed up the electrical. Dora left enough power on for the well pump to give adequate water for the commode. Vickey left here with two large plastic cat little containers which held three gallons of water each to flush the commodes. Then Dora said they didn't turn the power off when they left and just left it that way. Dora was as glad they left as Mom, her and me was. They all tried to sponge off of us. Their run of bad luck was affecting almost everyone in the extended family. I do hope they get the girl in school before DHS takes the girl away from them. The two year old deserves better and so does the teenager. I would like to see my older sister, again after she lets them other people stay in Branson.

Yup. And the drama is not over. She came back. Mom always told me that now that you made your bed to lie in it. Sure enough she brought them back. She might as well stay and try to make the best of it. I used to leave Arkansas but always managed to get back. After a while I quit trying to leave.
I hope it works for Qwen and her new guy. I am happy my ex and her man are still together. I like to see happy people. I know Kathy told me it would be three more months for her to get enough money to fix her transmission on her car. I wouldn't want her car to break down while she is trying to leave. I know she said she was just staying until winter was over. This is the fourth winter she will have been here. |

It was a good night. Dropped by Rosie's part store this morning after breakfast at Hilltop restaurant to get an automatic transmission filter, gasket and four quarts of fluid for $20.00. Roger said if I drove to Caney he would put it on for me and fill it up. This Roger lives out there working for Marshall's father-in-law. Well, his girlfriend's father I should say since the son is gay who is married to Marshall's girlfriend. No mater how you say it still it doesn't come out right but that is the way it is. Poor Cody is all I can say who has Marshall as the biological father. Anyway, that should help the truck run better. Then, later, I am going for the tuneup next paycheck.

ya i need a tune up jk lol
Its been a while since I have had a tune up. I am pretty sure I have a screw loose. Just worked a 14 hour shift; I am trying to cut back. Then just got home because Roger fixed the transmission. Roger figured that Jamey over-tightened the gasket on the transmission pan because he did the same thing. But he backed it off and rebolted and it stopped leaking after we put a new filter with gasket and gasket sealer plus silicon over than with 4 quarts of fluid. It was two quarts low on oil. It still has a miss but in two weeks he said we could do the tune up and oil change.
