"OCD" about? Yeah, I know the word is over-used. Do you have any weird little idiosyncracies you'd dare confess?
Mine comes from being under that big ol' autism umbrella. I have a problem with "twinkle lights". I find if I look at them, I HAVE to try and count them. Drives me nuts! |

Only with my books and dvds. The dvds have to be unscratched and my books have to be in as perfect shape as possible, no bent pages no tears in the pages or covers.

Does always wanting a perfectly clean and organized house count as OCD? If so, that would be mine.

I'm OCD about ((((Fear))))
Nah really, I'm not OCD. I'm more of a perfectionist. And no it's not the same. |

I must check my azz 16 times an hour for my wallet

Ummm...I think it comes from years working in pubs, but I like all the glasses neat, and in size variations...also the coffee cups on their shelf in their little families of matching-ness...
considering at any given time I can have 6 people drinking coffee and tea, and a glass of water each, and often up to 15 different people in the house...I don't think it's so much OCD as being practical. |

I think hangers going different ways would drive me nuts!
No big hang-ups "during" meals at restaurants, but usually return the spice settings to original place |

Hangers?...what the heck are they?...I hang my stuff on the floor... Good visuals! I have a strange habit of eating things one at a time on my plate. I usually eat all my peas for example then move on to the potatoes or rice or fish or meat what have you. It is unconscious and I didn't realize I was even doing it until I had lunch with a friend in high school who pointed out that it was odd. It is not a hard and fast rule or anything like that. I like to sometimes blend things on my plate for example or put gravy or sauce on things and I sometimes consciously go from one item to the other. But sometimes I still catch myself doing it. I don't have the slightest idea why... Also, when I work out I like to start the workout hitting the speedbag for at least 5 or 10 minutes but I don't do it every time and it doesn't bother me if the place I am going to work out does not have a speedbag...Tho sometimes I miss it. |

My books would probably be the closest, and that's more about cataloging them, then anything else.
And probably records/file cabinet/type of thing. Must be sorted and ordered properly. I just prefer everything clean and neat. |

I like putting heavy things down, very gently. 2. I like taking light foot steps. 3. love jumping around gaps on the pavement. 4. Don't ever slam doors. 5. Don't like covering patterns with anything. That will do! |

I'm fussy about my kitchen. I can't cook or eat in it unless it's clean.
I use a different dish cloth and towel every day. If I have a sponge, I microwave it. I use Lysol on the sink before doing the dishes. Who knows what the kids have dumped in there? I don't put my purse on the kitchen table or counters; to me, it would be about the same as putting my shoes up there. I try to keep it off the floor and put it in the wash once a week. I also disinfect the doorknobs, phone, tv remote and keyboard once a week. I know it might sound crazy, but we hardly ever get colds or flu around here. My grandkids are in and out a lot, so that's part of the reason. |
