i'm not as strong as ya think, i'm depressed and mad all the time. i know i have to let go in my heart, and it would help if i had another man to get involved with. but that's not the way to be, although that would ease the pain. my heart's gonna turn stone one of these days.

Letting go of people is never an easy thing to do, it's even more difficult when you actually care for that person.

Pretty much, the whole "I care for you, but I can't be with you" line is normally standard for "I wanna go bang someone else, and hopefully you won't, so when I am done banging that other person, you will take me back". I mean, let's be honest. Men and women use this line to basically (1) make it appear that they are letting you down easily, and (2) they don't feel bad cause hey, they were honest, and hey...they just wanna bang someone else.

Sad to say that this is so common in today's world. We are such a self centered society that we want what we want, and we don't care who we hurt. Yes, if he doesn't want to be with you, then he did the right thing in saying so. But why not just say, "I care, but we don't work. And I want to go out with someone else."? Cause that is just too hard right? Or, I guess it could be worse. You could have gotten it through a text.

"Hi. Me decided to break up wit u. Me luv u long time, but want 2 bang other girl. Peace out!" Hmmmmm. Harsh huh? Sadly, this sort of text is very common these days. Anyways, bottom line, your better off and he will probably get the clap.

that's more like what he meant, because to be truthful, both of us we don't work together, because both of us have a temper. his gets to the point where he almost want to get physical. so yea, he care but we can never be together.

really when he said, i don't want to be with u anymore, he probably had his beer and puff puff in him. but he still call and hold a convo sometimes. so he tryna string me along to see if i'ma change. but i shouldn't have to lower my standards so low down where he at, basically beneath the ground. just not enough love there, and i can tell. but if i was to really, REALLY move on....he'd probably have a little problem excepted that. idk

You deserve much better. You deserve someone that is all there and knows how to treat you right. He probably will be bothered when you move on, but then again he may be too busy boozing and doping to realize what actually happened.

It's an all too common situation, but you don't need to be dragged down with him, especially if it sounds like he's not willing to change.

when I Was with my ex, I couldnt stop thinking about him because he was a constant source of STRESS on my mind,,(not saying thats whats meant here , just using it as an example)

I WANTED to stop stressing about him and worrying about him, therefore, I didnt WANT to be with him anymore because he was the source of my (stressful) thoughts,,,

well i guess i was the stress-er, because i asked questions like him going out on the porch to text and grinning. or if i breathed wrong he would blow up. i'll give an example....i was scratching my arms while laying next to him, he was tryn to sleep and he went off on me. so what does that tell ya. he's just a stressful person, so me being around he can't handle it.

the key phrase"but i don't want you anymore" is basically enough for me to realize i need to go on about my life and to leave them behind.
