This is going out to a friend of mine who was a total black sheep but he still was a friend of mine. He had a warped sense of humor as bad if not worst than mine and the sex life of a pig. His porn collection was second to none and contained some of the raunchiest garbage I could think of. For his faults he was still a good person both in person and at heart.
His life was screwed up when he was working as a tow truck driver and was crushed by a passing car. He was just getting his life back in order and finally found his happiness. A month ago he risked his own life running into a busy street to save ta toddler of an inattentive mother. The scary thing is that right after he did that he swore he had cheated death one too many times and death was going to come calling. He told all of those who knew him he thought he had cheated death way too often.
I got the news my friend Sheldon died yesterday afternoon this morning. I finally got the details of his death. He literally was perfectly fine all day but in the afternoon his eyes rolled into the back of his head and that was it. Gone. He died in a medical marijuana dispensary and I think the saddest thing about his passing beyond some dickweed stealing his bike when he died, was he was two years younger than me and died shortly before 4:20.

I feel so small right now...

I know others have had to deal with loss like this and I have had to before but man like each time is no better.

I just got back from a candle burning and I am surprised at the people who knew him who didn't show up for his wake. His family is not having a viewing. Just a burn and toss. At least some of us gave a damn about him.

So sorry Andy.

The older we get,,the more around us die..Their leaving us here,,is our reminder that we're next. Maybe not tomorrow,,maybe not next week,,but we know we also feel,,that we have in some way,,also cheated death.
Because,,why THEM,,and Why not ME?
Is it chance,,destiny, or God just letting us sweat?
I've lost all my best-friends I grew-up with.
Now,,much time since my last one was taken..
With each day that arrives,,sometimes I just gaze for a moment thinking.
Wondering if this suspense of my own time, won't just kill me.

I'm sorry for your friends passing,,but then again,,I wonder if HE'S not thinking how sorry he is,,that YOUR still stuck here, waiting!

If we had the gift of knowing our time, would we really want it?

They say that everything happens for a reason?
But then,,we question our thoughts as to what THAT reason might have been?

Coming-up blank? We re-focus and continue on,,such is life,,such is death.

Waiting for that ONE NEW DAY TO ARRIVE,,when IT DOESN'T!

Questions,,and missings,,the only thing I know for sure is,
WE wait,,and yet,,we RUN at the speeded of sound,,never looking back,,to avoid what we know is a must to have happen..

I will Pray for His family and for his friends and you who really cared about him and loved him much,,for all to find His peace,,he now feels with God..

Thanks all. I know people who said they were his friend who I have bad words for. His family is opting for a burn and dump with no wake or viewing or anything else. I know it is their choice BUT he did have friends. It all just SUCKS DONKEY PRONG!

I am so sorry for your loss
My best friend died a year ago similar circumstance...young and the black sheep of the family..she died suddenly. In life, she was misunderstood by many. She touched my life and I think about her every day.
