thats clever
there is another one detective goren asked on criminal intent that I still havent figured out 'if you came to two doors, one leading to heaven and the other to hell, and the guard guarding the door to heaven could only tell the truth and the guard gurding the door to hell could only tell lies,,,what one question would you ask to decide which door to enter to get to heaven?' |

Ask either guard, " What door would the other guard tell me leads to heaven." Then pick the other door. |

"Am I here?" "Are you a guard?" "Is that other guard really a guard?" "Will I fit through the door?" "Can I (or you) open the door?" (a yes answer means heaven's guard, no means hell) "Are you an Atheist?" "Are you me?" "Is that door a window?" "Am I a whale?" "Is hell real?" (a no answer means heaven's guard, yes means hell) |

(a yes answer means heaven's guard, no means hell) "Are you an Atheist?" "Are you me?" "Is that door a window?" "Am I a whale?" "Is hell real?" (a no answer means heaven's guard, yes means hell) so if asking a guard if hell is real results in a no then it must be heaven's guard. if there's a door to heaven and a door to hell then hell must be real. if hell is real and a guard tells you otherwise, that would be a lie and therefore wouldn't be coming from the guard to heaven. . . . |
